Once upon a time, there was one and there was not another one, but anyway there exists none other than God. In ancient times, there were three dervishes living together and ate together what they earned, more or less, and were thankful to God.
One day in the mountain, behind a big rock, they had sat comfortable far from people, and were talking to each other. By the way, a king and his minister were returning from hunting and were passing near them. The king noticed that he could hear three persons who were talking together warmly and quietly. He stopped and pointed to the minister and both of them eavesdropped in order to listen to the speech of these three persons to find what they were talking about without the dervishes were informed.
The first dervish said: "As a matter of fact I am tired of the manner of dervish life. It has lasted a life-long that I am searching mountains and deserts. How much should I go here and there with having no settlement? I like occurrence a situation in which the king gave me his daughter in order that I would have a quiet life at this little remaining of my life and I also have God's blessings." The second dervish said: "I'm too. You said what I wanted to say, but I am not as high-flying as you are. If the minister gives his daughter tom, it will be sufficient for me." The third dervish said: "I also want to calm a corner. I only want God my salvation. If I am given a good woman too, I'll be thankful to God. That is what I desire, and no more. There is no difference for me between the daughter of the king and one of the minister or solicitor or any other one." The king whispered to the minister: "Who are these persons?" The minister answered: "These are three dervishes living in this mountain. At days they go to the villages around here and people give them something and at nights they return back here in this mountain." The king and minister said no more, and moved. As they arrived at the palace, the king ordered that those three dervishes be brought to him. The slaves went and brought them.
The king faced them and said: "I have heard that you are tired of the dervish life and want to have a comfortable life. Seemingly, you aspire also that your wives be the daughter of me or of the minister. You have to say me all what you have in your heats, otherwise, every one of you avoiding saying will be killed. Now you should decide. My officers reported me these matters."
The dervishes at first were frightened and wanted to be safe. When the king assured them that provided they were right he would have nothing to them, they repeated the same talks of themselves in the mountain no less and no more. The king liked their honesty and gave his daughter to the first dervish and ordered the minister to give his daughter to the second dervish. Very soon, they celebrated the wedding of the first dervish with the king's daughter and the wedding of the second dervish with the minister's daughter. But the third dervish who wanted no determined girl remained deprived. But since he had contentment, kindly said to his two friends: "My God is generous. I will find the woman I want to marry. Be certain that my God is greater than the king and minister."
After elapsing some days from their wedding, the king summoned the two dervishes and said them: "OK. Your wishes from God had now been fulfilled. Now you have to take the hand of your wives and go wherever you want." The king's son in law and the minister's son in law accepted this order and went with their wives back to the city toward the desert, and they did not inform the third dervish about where they were going and what they were doing. They went and went up to where some persons had erected some tents and lived in them happily. The dervishes decided to see who they are. But the two dervishes disagreed together about the priority of going first in to see who they are: the husband of the king's daughter or the husband of the minister's daughter? They even quarreled on this matter severely and eventually fought together which resulted in death of both of them by themselves.
Now hear from the third dervish. He searched some days here and there to get news from his friends without any success. So, he guessed that they had gone from the city. So, he went outside the city and asking directions followed their traces and went and went until when he reached to the tents and saw that they had killed themselves and their wives were wondering sat in the tents of those desert dwellers. The dervish went to the women and consoled them and talked them a long time and afterwards took agreement of them to accompany him in going to another city or village. The women agreed and all of them got going. They went and went until they arrived at a city. One of the women gave the dervish a coin in order that he went and provided a food. The dervish went to the market and searched and searched until he reached a bakeshop. When he gave the coin, the baker looked at it and said: "From where have you brought this coin?" The dervish said: "I am valet and servant of two girls, and this coin is theirs. They have given me to buy food for them and to take." The baker said: "aren't you ashamed man!? What is the relation of you to giving service to two girls? Remain here. I have a good and high-income job for you that you can have a good and comfortable living until the end of your life." The dervish did not accept and said: "No. I don't betray to my patrons. I should return back to them. You also retain what you have with yourself." When the baker saw the dervish did not notice to his wish, he changed his speech and said: "No problem. Seemingly, you are a good person and don't betray. Now come with me to the big garden in order that I give you some fruits to take to the girls." The dervish accepted and trusted to God and got going with the baker.
The baker took the dervish to a garden to which no one had come during the recent seven years because of the fear caused by a big snake nested under the trees. The baker who wanted to get the coin he had seen in the hand of the baker intent to take him in and cause his death. He pushed the dervish into the garden. When the dervish walked into the garden he heard a fizz. He wanted to turn back, but the baker said him not be afraid and come in. the dervish said himself that God was big and he went in to see what would happen. He said this and walked in. He saw what a big garden! Everywhere were full of fruit and flower and the green. At this moment he heard a voice that said: "Come forward. It is seven years that the people of this city avoid this garden and thought it had dragon. They don't know that I am an angel and the guard of seven treasures. There are also seven luminescent gems on these seven treasures. I will show them to you to take all of them and build a big palace for yourself. But you have to rebuild the wall of the garden as higher as possible." The baker, who, because of his fear, had not come forward, had not heard the speech of the dragon. But, the dervish, who had now be relieved, went calm and relaxed to the dragon and accepted whatever it said. When he saw the seven luminescent gems, he could possess the seven treasures. Then immediately he went to the king's daughter and the minister's daughter and told them all what had happened for him. From there he returned back to the market. The baker who wished the dervish had been eaten by the dragon was compelled to sell his garden and his shop to the dervish. Then the dervish brought workers and builders and architects and very soon he built a big palace there being wish of every king. When the work of the built of the palace ended, he brought the two girls there and all three persons lived in the palace.
One day the king and the minister came to that city to inspect and be informed of the state and business of the people there. When the dervish got the news of their arriving, he went to them and invited them to come to his palace. When the king and the minister came, the dervish entertained them completely and wanted them to remain there the night too. Both of them agreed. The dervish said: "Tonight, in order that you are not alone, I will put the two girls to sleep in the next room, and in the morning I will reveal a big secret for you." The king and the minister did say nothing and slept in their room. In the morning, when the dervish went to serve the king and minister, the king faced him and said: "Although I am the king of this country, I did not object you last night since you were our host. But, what was that you did and what was that you said?" The dervish answered: "I did not mean any dad. Now, I reveal you a big secret so also your discomfort would go away. Perhaps you don't know that your daughter was sleeping alone in the next room and the daughter of the minister was also sleeping alone in the other next room." The king got surprised and peered the dervish and said: "You are somehow familiar to me. Aren't you the same dervish whose two of friends became sons in law of me and the minister and you said that I only beg the God of the king and my God is generous?" The dervish answered: "Yes. That is me." By hearing this answer, the king became glad so much. Also the dervish sat and told them all the story of the daughters and him. Then he went and bought their daughters to their fathers. The king and the minister, who were steel surprised, hugged and kissed their daughters.
The king ordered at that moment throughout his country was decorated and seven days and seven nights they held celebration and since they had seen of the dervish only goodness and honesty and God-wishing, they let him espouse both the girls, and they continued their common life happily in the same palace they had gotten themselves.
