Once upon a time, there was no one other than God. In ancient times, there was a ruler who had become blind in both eyes. One night he saw in his dream that a man in white was saying him: "Your eyes will become seeing, but only a person who is living in a cave in just this mountain can do this work. You should bring him, and as soon as he will tell you his story, your eyes will become seeing."
When the ruler woke up, when the sun rose, he called up a servant and told him his dream he saw at the night before and sent him swiftly to find the man whose address had been said in the dream and would bring him. The servant without delay got going and went and searched all the caves of the mountain but could find no one. He returned back and said the ruler: "No one was there. But, only there was a basket at a corner of the cave in which a man was sitting and neither talk nor saw to anyone." The ruler said: "Go and bring just this same person."
The servant went and brought the old man with the basket to the ruler. As the old man saw the ruler laughed and said: "At last I found you! It is about two hundred years that I've been waiting for such a day." The ruler was surprised by the speech of the old man. But the old man without any delay began to tell him his story and said: "When I was young, my father and mother took a wife for me. At the wedding night when they brought her to the bridal chamber, she unexpectedly said I've desired to deer meat just now. For me it was a shame not to fulfill the wish of my wife particularly in the wedding night. So I got up and rode my horse and went hunting to obtain deer meat for the bride. I went and went until I reached a small castle. I saw a young man was sitting in front of the door of the castle while he had killed a deer and separated it into two halves and had hung each half on a wall of the castle. I went ahead and greeted him and asked him what happened to him causing him to be so sad here. The young man wanted me not to ask how he was and continue my way by taking the deer meat I wanted. He said that nothing I can do for him to relieve his pain. I asked him let me know his pain maybe I could do something for him. The young man said that his name was Malik Ibrahim, and he had his cousin engaged to marry him, but his uncle who was ruler made her to marry someone else, and the next night was the henna night, and the night after that night would be the wedding night. I told him there was no problem and I would bring him his engaged cousin. I wanted him to show me the way to that city. Malik Ibrahim agreed, and said he could not accompany me because his pictures were stuck to the gates of the city, but if I wanted to do so I would have to via this mountain and for the wedding night I would reach there, while in common way it would last six months. Afterwards, he thought and said since it was probable that I lost the way he would accompany me to near the city. He said this and bought one hundred spikes and said that we had to nail the spikes into the stones and climb vertically the mountain by them. I took one of the spikes and whatever I tried it would not pierce the stone. Malik Ibrahim questioned if I intended to bring his cousin in such a manner. He laughed and took the spikes and put them one by one on the stone of the mountain and hit strongly by his fist on them and they easily pierced the stone and we took the spike and climbed the mountain. In summary, we reached up the mountain and at the other side of the mountain we came swiftly down, and after a while walking we reached the land and saw a farmer was watering his watermelon kitchen garden. I went ahead and wanted him something foe eating because we were hungry. He welcomed us and was going to brought us watermelon that I hit by my fist on the back of his head from behind him. He became unconscious and fell on the ground. I removed his clothes and wore them myself, and I became busy to watering. Malik Ibrahim also went and hid behind a stone. In the afternoon I saw some trays were brought to be taken to the bride's home. I saw that the last tray was on the head of a man whose leg was lagging. Immediately I went and knocked him out and put his tray on my head and went behind others. As we reached the bride's home and delivered the trays to the relatives of the bride, I took advantage from the opportunity of the confusion of there and became hidden in a corner. I waited until the bride and bridegroom were alone in the room. I rapidly killed the bridegroom by sword and took the girl and we went out of the home through the chimney going toward Malik Ibrahim. Immediately, all three of us rode the horse and escaped toward our village. But Malik Ibrahim had with himself a bag of date and rapidly ate them and dropped their cores on the ground. In the morning, the ruler, or the same girl's father, found out what disaster had occurred to his son in law and his daughter had been taken too. He was certain that these works could not be done by anyone except his brother's son. So he sent an army to arrest Malik Ibrahim. Then they followed the trace of the date cores and came. We were unaware and were going slowly in order not to become tired. But suddenly we realized that an army was closing us from a far distance. We had no way to escape. Malik Ibrahim went ahead and killed many of them and when he was tired I went ahead and fought as much as I was able. When I was tired the girl went ahead and fought as much as she could. But the girl became injured and Malik Ibrahim went to help her. The boy too became injured. Since this couple had power no longer and knew what fate was awaited to them, they killed themselves. I too escaped and went and went until when encountering the door of the castle. I took a half of the deer meat and went to my wife. I was keeping my life although I was restless due to the fear of the ruler. So I went to a cave in this mountain and hid myself, and from then to now I am living there."
The ruler asked him: "Now, do you know the address of them?"
The old man answered: "Yes I know. But now I am too old to move."
The ruler said: "I know a cave the address of which was given to me by the man in white in my dream."
The ruler said this and stood up and performed ablution and praying two units. At once the very old man became a lively and graceful young man. The ruler too felt that he could see. They were happy and embraced themselves kissing each other. The ruler asked the old man who had become young now: "By the way, what is your name?" The man replied that his name was Sam. Sam and the ruler rode the horse and galloped to where Sam had shown. They saw all the date cores, dropped down at that night, now had become palms with some hanging braches. Suddenly they encountered the corpses of Malik Ibrahim and his cousin. They noticed that although elapsing so many years from their death, the corpses were fresh. The ruler face to Sam and said: "Pick them up and wash the blood on their bodies one by one and set them over there."
After washing the blood, the ruler performed ablution and praying two units and blew to Malik Ibrahim and the girl. Both were alive. At first, they were afraid of the ruler. But, later, when the ruler greeted them, they came and embraced the ruler and were happy. Sam did not know what had happened. So he asked the ruler: "Why were they afraid of you?"
The ruler answered: "I am the father of this girl and due to her separation I had become blind. All these times I was blaming myself that I had separated this couple from each other and finally had caused their death. At last I saw that dream and found you."
Malik Ibrahim and the girl returned back to the palace of the ruler and kept their happy common life. Sam also began his youth life, and the ruler also resigned to a corner and proceeded to worship until when he died.
