He was born in 1959 in MARZ DASHT village of MAZANDARAN state. Studied from the beginning to the end of high school in his hometown. Then he was accepted at the academy of arts and after two years, received master diploma. After graduation, started in one of the LANGROUD villages. His pen name was AZAR BAD. We can see the influence of SOHRAB SEPEHRI on his poems. He even dedicated one of his poems to SOHRAB. Late poet considered as a dissident person.

FEATURES OF SALMAN`S POETRY:

He is one of the poets of revolution era, who has new vision, idea and language in his poems. Exquisite images of nature and man`s relation to God are his own features.
His poetry is sincere and simple. He was showing full honesty and sincerity in his poems. Even though his poem has close relationship with God and nature, has social content and is sensational. He never copied. We can observe his creativity in imagination and ideas.

HIS POEMS:

Reader of his poems, first of all, encounters his ideology. Most of his works, directly or indirectly talks about social and political beliefs. SALMAN needs poem to do his duty on political and social commitment. When he talks about homeland, he means Iran of today. He never goes to history. He speaks of Iranian martyrs whose names became names of streets. Talks about BEHESHT ZAHRA which is the dignity of the earth. And because of the war, danced in blood.

POETRY:

SALMAN is revolutionary poet. He can be the most influential poet in the language of this period. Less reader happens to have a problem in communicating with HARATI`s poetry. In his poetry, words are so arranged side by side that none of them is strange to others. Poet has proved to be able to take advantage of popular words. However, 27 years of age and 10 years of poetry, were little time for self-pollinate and create new poems.

WAR POET:

Late SALMAN, is one of the 15 selected poets for 20 years of war poem in year 2000. He was one the mighty poets who could early understand revolution, and reflected it in his poems. HARATI`s poetry is full of love, faith and purity, which shows the unique human identity. In his poems, there is no elemental war against humanity and devastating, but beautiful and gets holy color of defense.

SPIRITUAL LOOK:

Social issues linked to the world of abstraction, is a valuable point in promised poem after the revolution. Spiritual perspective to social issues reaches to its peak in his poems. HARATI`s poetry is full of hope and good cheer. In his poems, he welcomes bright future. This hope originates from a belief that SALMAN has on Islamic revolution.

Few years after the victory of the Islamic revolution, began unhappy moments. Because some fellows forgot great values. SALMAN`s poem addressed those money worshipers who are after their interests.

Why share of ABDOLLAH

Acres and acres of trouble and regret
And share of NASER KHAN

Hectares and the rest?

We are standing in front of the America
But why still KIYOUMARS KHAN is ruling
ABDOLLAH with sickle
Kill some pigs every night
But when the master comes, he has to bow

Why ABDOLLAH is forced to bow to this pig?
