Ghale Gardan

The col lies in the west of Mazandaran, in Tonekabon and is bordered to the north by the Caspian Sea, to the east by the city of Chalus, to the south by the city of Ghazvin and to the west by Ramsar.
If you’d like to have a visit, you should go to the heights of Tule Sar ,about 3 km southwest of Tonekabon. It lies about one km southwest of Khorram Abad in the south of a village with the same name.
It boasts fascinating landscapes, rivers , heights , diverse vegetation and wildlife, as well as historic landmarks such as Divan Khane monument, the old mosque, Ghale Piruz in Khorram Abad( about one km south of Tonekabon), Montazem Divan monument, the old bathhouse in the village of Golijan ( 2 km southwest of Tonekabon), Sheikh Nooroddin in the village of Noor Abad( 8 km west of Tonekabon) and several mausoleums.
Among the famous old castles in Tonekabon are Kar Kuh in Khoshk Rud ( in the village of Golijan), Toneka south of the city of Balade, and Marvan ( Ghale Gardan).
