Many believe that the most beautiful place in the province of Golestan is Lowe village and its spectacular waterfall which flows on a stepped path in the heart of beautiful nature.
You might already have heard thousands of reports on the effects of listening to the pleasant sounds of waterfalls and watching the flow of waters on the mental and physical health of human , but you can never believe so until you pay a visit to waterfalls and experience the beautiful places around. If you’d like to see if it’s true or not, our suggestion is Lowe , as the first experience.
The waterfall is located 20 km from Galikesh , 5 km from the main Golestan-Mashahd road , near a village ,with dense forests and broadleaf trees, which carries the same name. It has 600 residents who earn their livelihood mainly through blue collar jobs.
Nearby there is the forest park of Golestan which makes it more worth a visit. Galikesh has various waterfalls among which the 75-meter Lowe is the exceptional and spectacular in the whole province.
There is poor advertisement and visitors primarily include those who know about it through friends and acquaintances or come across the forests accidentally.
To reach it, you should drive on the Gorgan-Bojnurd road. Don’t forget that sometimes the path to achieve something is more beautiful than the aim itself.
5 km on the Golestan-Mashhad road you will notice a sign showing the waterfall. Make sure to bring along camera and comfortable appropriate shoes . Be careful about the steep slopes leading to the waterfall.
