Spring holiday is over. Perhaps you are among those who are preparing for a trip in Ordibehesht and Khordad (the second and third months in spring). Now that Farvardin is coming to an end and Ordibesht is on its way , which is a time for a beautiful change in nature , it’s a chance to take a trip over the weekends.
Our suggestion is Kermanshah with a special climate, location and green lush pastures, and valleys covered in woodlands. It features a mild and pleasant climate and is a fascinating spot for camping.
Remember not to miss the forest park of Tagh-e Bostan , one of its main highlights.
Rijab and Ban Zarde regions , 120 km northwest of the city of Kermanshah will make your trip memorable. Soring snow-capped mountains of Dalahu with slopes covered in fig and walnut forests surround the area. The enchanting and roaring river of Sarab-e Riajab , which is a piece of heaven with its winding ups and downs , will refresh the soul and take you to a far way place beyond your imagination.
You can leaf through a history book when you pay a visit to Yazdgerd castle and the shrines of Baba Yadegar and Abu Dajaneh.
Large and historical place of Bisotun , which is home to prehistoric relics, located in the east of Kermanshah is another highlight with abundant historical and natural attractions. The sad sound of the ax of Farhad can still be heard there.
The most famous and important ancient relic here is the relief and inscription of Darius the Great on the high-rise rock of Bisotun, which are a must see.
