Including ethnicities of Fars, Turkmen, Sistani, and Baluch live in there in addition to the nomads in the north of Khorasan.
It bears significance in the province with respect to its location on the path that connects Golestan and Khorasan. It also is a way to and fro Turkmenistan republic and a crossroad for widespread relations.

Also, agricultural products are grown in the fertile land and rich fields of Kalaleh which include wheat, barley, cotton, and oil seeds.
Their women often weave rugs and carpets
,traditional floor covering, do needlework(by the Baluch), wool weaving, and felt clothing to help their families to make ends meet.
