Karafuto cave , a major cave in Iran

Karafto , a major cave i n the country, is located 72km north of Divandarreh, near the village of Yuzesh Bash Land I , in the province of Kurdestan. Among tourist highlights of the province , it has a Greek: inscription on the entrance in a room on the third floor, and it reads it's the temple of Heracles. Architecturally speaking, it includes rooms and corridors connected to one another. There are openings to let the light in and on some of its walls of the rooms there are patterns of animals, human and plants.
According to research , it was underwater in the Middle of life and then it gradually rose out of water. It's a natural calcareous cave which has been changing and evolving the whole time. Presently, its length measures about 750 m and includes several subsidiary paths. The 4-storey cave has been adorned beautifully by the artistic stone-cutters in its entrances , rooms and corridors.
It was talked over in 1379 , solar calendar, and archeological examinations outside and inside it ended up in findings from different periods. The exploration of a stone chip on the fourth floor and outside the cave indicates life presence in the prehistoric era. Also the pottery and gained objects provide evidence to the human settlement in the Parthian and Sassanid and Islamic eras , i.e. the 6th to 8th centuries AH. Actions were taken during the years 1378_1379 and the area outside was organized, stairs , resting spaces, parking lot ,rest rooms and care taker station were made and with wiring electricity was developed.
