The historic bridge of Zamankhan is located in the proximity of the city of Saman in the province of Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiyari. The old and precious building with a length of 30 m contains two mouths. It stands on three stone columns. It lies 29 km north of Shahr-e Kurd.
In the past time the nomads and tribes of Bakhtiyari kept coming and going across the bridge. It was constructed by a nomads’ head called Zamankhan. The region enjoys a temperate , delicate and clean climate and welcomes the crowds of sightseers over the holidays.
Facilities like hotel, camping site and villas for renting as well as public rest rooms , restaurant, and tea house are available there.
It is surrounded by abundant gardens and various trees which have created striking and picturesque scenery . The trees of peach, almond and walnut grow there abundantly.
