Caricature museum

The museum of Caricature in Tabriz, the first largest museum in the Middle East and the fifth largest throughout the world, displays 14,000 works of famous artists and cartoonists like Zlatovfsky, Kuzuburkyn, Koroglu, Drujinin, Kulmeshkynu, Bayram Hajizadeh Porumbita, kept in two galleries.
The original works are the results of over 10 international festivals in the province of East Azerbaijan.
It was established in 1385, solar calendar, in the old building of Tabriz national library behind the historic garden of Golestan.
Among other sections of the museum is the library where more than 1000 albums with a series of historical and foreign papers are showcased.
