Built in the Ghajar period, the bridge is listed as the national site. It connects Shamsolemareh( the current governor's office) to the north part of the city. Built with bricks it contains crescent-shaped arches and the vaulted capitals of columns and stands on Mehranrud. It was founded by an old woman who devoted the money for her Haj pilgrimage trip to build the bridge and that's why it is called Ghari Kurpusoo. In 1327, another parallel bridge was built to make it easy to pass on two directions. It is located on Chai square on Chaikenar street.
