AIPAC Organization

Indeed discussion of the Zionist lobby of America without giving regard to the organization of AIPAC and describing its function, is considered as an incomplete argument.
In America, there is a serious and widespread cooperation between Christian and Zionist organizations in favor of Israel. The numbers of organizations that are active in this field are 250 organizations. Some of these organizations try to influence on thinking and decisions of Congress’ representatives with diverse ways and change any little objection to Israel and the Jews.
"America Israel’s Public Affairs Committee= AIPAC” is the most important and most influential official pro-Israel pressure group in the United States that is active in this field.
One of America State Department’s documents shows that in March 1950 C., a meeting between Dean Acheson, the foreign affairs secretary of the United States, and Nahum Goldman, chairman of the Meeting of the largest Jewish organizations of America, in which Goldman has requested that an order be given to have a series of regular connections with Middle East experts at the State Department, so to make their minds clear to some of the issues, including possibilities of Jews in America. Although this request took place two years after the establishment of the Zionist regime, and it was not immediately granted, after that the Jews were effectively able to have a representative for communicating with the State Department, the White House, and the Congress.
Jacob Stein, former president of the meeting of the leaders of Jewish organizations in America, was one of the most active men who was in charge of the task of communicating with the White House.
After the 1956 C. war, the command President Eisenhower to Israel's forces that was based on withdrawal from Sinai Desert, made the Jews to conclude that mere Jewish lobby's efforts are not enough, and only having relationship with the White House and the State Department and the Congress and American officials, would not guarantee continuous support of America for Israel's future, but it also requires effective training of men and giving them equipment so that they can have key jobs to penetrate in the fabric of America’s government and Congress, in order to satisfy aims and objectives of Jews.
The establishment of "America Israel’s Public Affairs Committee" (AIPAC) that has put hundreds of Jewish associations and institutions and councils and organizations across the United States under the supervision, occurred with the same look and feeling of need.
"AIPAC" using all the features, such as mail, telephone, telex, fax, e-mail and etc. is trying to contact with congressmen representatives, executive directors and influential figures and institutions and lead them to the direction of their own wishes by giving them information.
On the other hand, AIPAC puts each of them in the membership of an Jewish association or organization by having detailed information of America’s Jews and with an ordered organization and all these organizations are subordinated to a higher organization and all United States’ Jews are in a cone system which is headed by AIPAC.
Although the number of members of the organization that today is considered as the most important America's Jewish political organization, is not clear, but most people have been reported more than fifty thousand members for it.
AIPAC’s journal called News of Middle East is given free to the Lord of the press, members of Congress, high-ranking government’s officials and other external and internal prominent political figures in America. AIPAC’s activities support the policies of the Zionist regime, without a care to the quality or quantity of them. AIPAC holds practical political training courses for the Zionism’s fans and teach them skills to put pressure on the government of America.
Polly Findlay stressed in the book “they talk candidly”: "AIPAC has the most influence on the White House than all pressure groups, and it is the cruelest of all of them and knows what to do very well. It has plenty of property, people and supporters. The main issue, on which it relies, is the issue that most Americans are considering about it, but unfortunately the America’s policymakers fail to distinguish between our national interests and Israel’s national interests because of AIPAC’s impact”. AIPAC assuming that ruling party of the United States is conservative or Republican, and the Zionists’ state is the Labor Party or Likud, uses all of these pressure features and leverage with a budget of over fifteen million dollars a year to defend the interests of Israel.
American writers of the book “America and Israel...warm relations” have spoken in detail about this organization and have stated: the organization of AIPAC has an extensive computer database in which the relations with each member of America’s Congress and names and features of all the people who are associated with them in a way or the ones who give donations in the elections and all those who can be effective in providing support and assistance to Israel, exist in it. However, for AIPAC, the individual’s wealth is not as important as an easy access to the president or a member of Congress is.
AIPAC’s employees spend most of their time recruiting new members and making promotional publications, but outstanding employees who are active in the first place have special expertise of communicating with people and gaining their support. These people are always looking for people and are trying to narrate with them in the corridors and halls of Congress for approval of representatives about the cases of Israel without feeling the least fatigue. "Advertisement" is the most important weapon of AIPAC. Numerous advertising journals are regularly published and widely distributed by the organization. Its weekly publication called Middle East Report is sent for more than six thousand people for free... In addition to this publication a magazine named mythology and events is published specifically for the university students. One of the political analysts says about the way AIPAC takes advantage of this publication: If you vote in their favor or according to their temperament and satisfy them, they will immediately publish it through their publications and other publishers, who are their fans, to spread it across the America, but if you talk in spite of their desire, all the facilities are used in the opposite direction to condemn you and put you under pressure through their advertising network. They affect the members of the Senate in the same way.
Robert Kaiser described AIPAC's influence on the members of Congress in an article in the Washington Post (Number 27/5/1984 C.) entitled “Israel violates the sanctity of the United States":
in this year, the Parliament and Senate competed with each other for more help to Israel.
After Reagan request a financial aid to the amount of 850 million dollars for Israel (in addition to military aids), Chairman of Foreign Relations Committee of the Senate and a prominent member of the Democratic Party in the committee, who were preparing for the election campaign of November of that same year, raised the amount by 50%, to 1/2 billion dollars and ratified it.
This issue raised concerns of members of Foreign Affairs Committee who did not want the Senate Committee be ahead of them on helping Israel.
Kaiser says: such news are published less in the press and mass media, because reporters and politicians in Washington believe that Israel and its American friends are the largest lobby group in the United States ,and victory will be theirs in each battle and struggle they enter.
Kaiser says: I asked a senator and a congressman who were each a member of the related Committee, what was the cause of such a huge help to Israel in this year? Instead of answers, they only smiled.
we can observe the amount of authority and domination of AIPAC on the United States, in Thomas Dine, Director of Administration, with James Baker, ministry of foreign affairs of America.

James Baker personally met Dianne. He was begging for his help to convince Israel to delay the apply from America for a secured loan of ten billion dollars in 1991 C., but Dianne rejected this request.
Another example of AIPAC's actions which can be considered is the action of impacting on ratings and comments of Jaycee Helms, USA’ Senator.
Holmes criticized the relations between his country and Israel till 1985 C. and opposed with the law in which tax payers in America, had to pay exorbitant amounts of money in interests of Israel. He condemned the attack of Israeli to Lebanon in 1982 C. and because of this attack, he asked the United States' relationships to be cut off with Israel.
But then the mentioned Zionist Organization began some special procedures and activities and rose against him. Suddenly, with an overall change of direction, through sending a letter to President of America, Ronald Reagan, he called the Israel as the best ally of the United States in the Middle East, and he asked him to assist Israel in annexation of all the occupied territories to his country.
AIPAC’s authority and control of the minds and souls of Congress and the Senate’s representatives, has caused them to compete with each other in expressing their devotion and loyalty and even flattery toward Jews and Israel, and in their clear public statements and positions, declare this devotion.
At the annual conference of AIPAC organization, signed in 1981 C., Senator Edward Rogers Gibson said in his speech:
One of the reasons of my continual support and approve of Israel, is me being a Christian. Christians, especially Protestants are the closest Israel's friends from the beginning of its establishment in 1948 C.
I believe that the cause bless of America over the years, is that we have honored the Jews who found refuge in this land and respected them. We are subject of divine blessing, because we have always defended Israel in a regular way. We found blessing because we have admitted the rights of Israel in the Palestinian territories.
George Paul and Douglas Paul in their above-mentioned book (America and Israel ... warm relationships) stipulated that any decision by the presidents of America about Israel or the Middle East, requires the consent of the heads of AIPAC. AIPAC’s periodic meetings which is held in April each year, is the gathering place for top America’s officials and members of Congress and governors of the United States and these people attend the meeting only to express their devotion and solidarity towards the Jews in America. Even America's president and prime minister of the Zionist regime are often considered as the guests of the gathering. , there were Al Gore, America’s vice president and Newt Gingrich, chairman of Deputies of the United States’ Congress, and Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister among the speakers at the AIPAC’s conference in April 1997 C.
Netanyahu said in his speech: Although I am seven thousand miles away from Jerusalem, but in this place I feel I am not out of it.
AIPAC wrote in a letter which was set to attract new members in 1982 C.:
in order to know the importance of your membership in our organization, please respect the fact that AIPAC gave the amount of 1.8 million dollars for having congressional approval for $ 2.2 billion in grant aid to Israel in 1981 C., and this means that every 35 dollars that has been spent for each member of the organization, provided an amount of 42777 dollars aid for Israel!
It should be noted that other than AIPAC, 38 other important Jewish organizations and a plethora of Jewish organizations with less importance are spread across the United States. While each of these organizations follow special programs, but all continue their activities under the supervision of AIPAC. Managers of the largest mentioned organizations are the members of the Central Council of AIPAC.
Before the end of the debate of AIPAC, giving an example of influence of this organization on United States’ policies in the case of the sale of AWACS planes to Saudi Arabia, is not devoid of interest.
In 1981 C., which coincided with the presidency of Ronald Reagan, AIPAC strongly disagreed with selling the planes to the Saudis, which was considered as a lucrative deal for America in any aspect.
America's leaders believed that these aircrafts can strength Saudi in defense of oil wells on which Europe and Japan’s economies are strongly dependent, against possible attacks of Iran, and deposited 8/5 billion dollars into the coffers of America.
Hence, all the leaders of America agreed to the deal except AIPAC that claimed these aircrafts appear to put Israeli security in risk, but in fact it wanted to teach a new lesson to the rulers of America by this opposition.
These aircrafts were not any danger to Israel. Even Ezer Weizman, Israeli Defense Minister, at the same time admitted the safety of the aircrafts which were easily dismantled, but AIPAC applied all its authority to stop this deal.
Numerous articles and publications against this transaction were prepared by AIPAC, and they were sent to every member of Congress. AIPAC’s delegates whispered much in need of opposition to the deal in the ear of Congress’ representatives and told them the stories of Nazi incinerated (Holocaust).
they dedicated full pages of newspapers and magazines of themselves to insert ads, promotions and conviction of selling AWACS planes to an ambitious and greedy nation (according to them).
The opposition was so widespread and severe that Reagan said in his press interview at the beginning of October 1981 C.:
foreign governments have no right to make decisions about United States’ foreign policies.
Finally, with the AIPAC's heavy advertising space which was provided against the deal, the Congress put the deal off the table with 301 opposite votes against 111 votes in favor.
At the same time, chairman of the budgetary resources said that he agreed with deal politically, but he voted against it in order to avoid confrontation with the Jewish lobby’s pressure.
