Hazrat Isaac (peace be upon him) is one of Morsel prophets of God and he was born in Palestine and resided there. His father was Ibrahim Khalil (peace be upon him) and his mother was Sare. He was the great grandfather of Bani Israeil and Hazrat Gabriel annunciated him that thousand prophets would come, Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) is one of them. His birth was few years later after the birth of Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him). It has been said in some narrations that he was born five years later after the birth of Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him). It has been also said that Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) was born when Hazrat Isaac (peace be upon him) was ninety years old and Hazrat Isaac (peace be upon him) was born when Hazrat Ibrahim was one hundred and twenty years old. Therefore, there was thirty years difference between the age of Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) and Hazrat Isaac (peace be upon him), Isaac was younger than Ismail. He was circumcised in the seventh day of his birth. His face was handsome and attractive like his mother, Sare. In the time of the birth of Hazrat Isaac (peace be upon him), his father was one hundred and twenty years old and his mother was ninety years old. In narrations, Isaac is five years younger than Ismaeil and he was born in Shamas. His mother, Sare, was the wife of Hazrat Ibrahim and his cousin. The story of the annunciation of the birth of Hazrat Isaac (peace be upon him) has been given to Sare and Ibrahim by the angels of God and it has been said in different pages of the Quran, in Hud, Hajar, Zariat Surahs. Of course, it has been said in Ankabut Surah and the name of Isaac has not been said in Hajar and Zariat Surahs, but a name to annunciate Hazrat Ibrahim or the annunciation of the birth of a wise child has been said. Hence, it was different with the child that God had annunciated and in some narrations, the birth of Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) has been annunciated; therefore, some have said that this annunciation has happened several times, once about Ismail and another time about Isaac. Maybe it has been said in some narrations in order that God wanted to annunciate it along with the news of the decline of Lut Tribe in order to console him since this news was unpleasant for him. However, this matter has been said in six verses in the Quran. In two verses, God annunciates Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and his wife, Sare, to a son child with the name '' Isaac''. Then God states in three verses '' I have donated Isaac to Ibrahim. In the end, the thankfulness of Ibrahim for this blessing of God has been said. At first, we will consider the verses that have annunciated a child to Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and Sare:
Hazrat Isaac (peace be upon him) married Refghe Betoil Bin Elyas in the age of forty years old. When he was sixty years old, he had two twin children with the names '' Isa'' and '' Yaghub''.
Hazrat Isghagh was selected as a prophet after his brother, Hazrat Ismaeil (peace be upon him). He selected his child, Hazrat Yaghub (peace be upon him), as his successor. According to the order of God, he was the successor of his brother in Sham. Hazrat Isaac selected his child, Yaghub, as his successor. The followers of Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail joined Hazrat Yaghub. The name of the prophet has been repeated in Quran seventeen times: Baghare Surah ( verse 84); Anaam Surah ( verse 6); Ale Umran( verse 163); Nisa Surah ( verse 163); Hud Surah ( verse 38); Yusef Surah( verse 39); Ibrahim Surah( verse 49); Maryam Surah ( verse 72); Anbia Surah ( verse 27); Ankabut Surah ( verse 112-113); Safat Surah ( verse 45); Sad Surah ( verse 45). He has been remembered as righteous child of God, a decent prophet and as a person that has an honorable way of living.
After exalted God describes Hazrat Ibrahim and his patience, he states the slaughter of his child (Hazrat Ibrahim)
َ بَارَکنَا عَلَیهِ وَ عَلَی إِسْحَاقَ
We granted him and Isaac blessing.
The word '' blessing'' has been analyzed in this way:
God granted them blessing due to the increase of child. In other words, they had a lot of children and the prophets of God were from their generation. Hence, God descended the blessing of the religion and the world to Ibrahim and Isaac. In other verses, Quran considers the mercy and the blessing of God to Isaac and his family and in this way, God has granted his blessings to this dynasty.
The holy book and the rank of judge:
Some of the prophets had a holy book and the rules of halal and haram things had been written in it. Some of them had the rank of judge and they judged fairly among people.
وَ وَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَاقَ وَیعْقُوبَ... أُولَئِک الَّذِینَ آتَینَاهُمُ الْکتَابَ وَ الْحُکمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ
We granted him (Ibrahim) Isaac and Yaghub. We granted them book and the rank of judge.
This verse refers to prophets that were mentioned in previous verses.
Hence, rule is that same wisdom The word '' rule'' means judging among people means science and jurisprudence in the religion and the rules of judge are arranged according to it and the struggles and disagreements of people are solved through those rules.
Some personal duties and social responsibilities of Hazrat Ibrahim have been stated in this way:
1. Fulfilling Prayer and paying Zakat;
God sent prophets as a pattern to guide Human so that their followers obeyed them and walked in the right path. Hence, the behaviors and actions of the prophets are considered as the best pattern for their followers.
َوَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَاقَ وَ یعْقُوبَ... وَ أَوْحَینَا إِلَیهِمْ... و إِقَامَالصَّلَاةِ وَ إِیتَاءَ الزَّکاةِ
We granted Yaghub as well as Ismaeil to Ibrahim …fulfilling prayer and paying Zakat have been recommended by God.
Fulfilling prayer means that we pray with its conditions and its due time and continue it permanently. Paying Zakat means that we help poor people according to amount that God has determined. Paying Zakat is one of the best devotions in social affairs as praying is one of the best physical devotions; therefore, it can be understood that these are two necessary affairs that previous nations had been ordered to do.

2. Annunciating the tribe;

One of duties of the prophets is to annunciate the nation. The prophets were supposed to annunciate people to the forgiveness and mercy of God when people believed in God and obeyed the messengers of God. But if they follow the path of blasphemy and deny the prophets, they should scare them from the torture of God.
أَوْحَینَا إِلَی... إِسْحَاقَوَیعْقُوب.. رُسُلًا مُبَشِّرِینَ وَمُنْذِرِینَ

We sent messages from divine to Yaghub and Isaac, the prophets that annunciated and scared human...
One of duties of Hazrat Isaac and other prophets was to annunciate the believers to the heaven and reward and scared the unbelievers to the torture and the fire of the hell.

3. Doing good actions;
God recommended the prophets to do good actions and try to fulfill them among people, whether they are devotions or trades.

َ وَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَاقَ وَیعْقُوبَ... وَ أَوْحَینَا إِلَیهِمْ فِعْلَ الْخَیرَاتِ
We granted Isaac and Yaghub to Ibrahim and sent messages from divine to do good actions. The meaning of the verb '' Al-Khayerat'' was acting the rules of prophesy. Doing these good actions was implemented as inner inspiration. Hence, the messengers of God that were confirmed by inner inspiration were supposed to do good actions such as fulfilling prayer and paying zakat. Hazrat Isaac (peace be upon him) passed away in the age of one hundred eighty years old. He was buried beside the tombs of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and Sare (peace be upon her) in Palestine. He is a prophet that was respected by Jewish and Christian people and the Muslims.

Amir Al-Momenin ( peace be upon him) says '' the first blessing that descended from the sky on the earth was the twenty fifth of Zi Al-Ghade. If a person worships in the night of the twenty fifth and fasts, he or she will have the reward of hundred years of worshiping (as if he or she has fasted all of his or her days, has worshiped all of his days). The specific mercy of God will descend for persons that worship him. it has been narrated from the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) '' God will descend his mercy in last five days of Zi Al-Ghade Month and it has been said in another narration '' if any one worships and fasts in the twenty fifth of Zi Al-Ghade, all of creatures of the world will seek forgiveness for him or her. according to a narration, the twenty fifth day of Zi Al-Ghade is the visit of Imam Reza (peace be upon him) because Imam Reza (peace be upon him) set off from Medina toward Khorasan and it has been said in the Shiite texts that it is Mostahab to visit Imam Reza( peace be upon him) whether from far or near places in every day related to Imam Reza ( peace be upon him). In addition, deceased Mir Damad stated '' the visit of Imam Reza (peace be upon him) in such a day is the highest worship; it is a mostahab action and it has been really emphasized to do. In fact, Dahv Al-Arz is the start of the world creation and paying attention to it in narrations and determining special actions such as fasting, worshiping, ceremonial washing and their fulfillment by innocent Imams (peace be upon them) represents the emphasis of God to such a day. In the day of Dahv Al-Arz, the mercy of God has been distributed and worshiping and remembering God have a lot of reward and the Muslims are encouraged to do mostahab actions in such a day.

Benny Qurayzah was the name of one of Jewish Tribes and one of wars of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). It has been narrated that Adya Bin Samuel became Jewish. Then they resided in a mountain with the name '' Gharize''. According to the opinion of some historians, Gharize was the name of their great grandfather.
After the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) migrated Medina, he signed peace treaty with the Jewish people of Benny Qurayzah. But they denied their treaty several times. Finally, when Ahzab Tribe attacked Medina in 5 Gh, Yahya Bin Akhtab, the head of Bani Nazir Tribe, encouraged Kaab Bin Asad, the head of Gharize Tribe, to deny his treaty with the prophet and the Muslims and signed treaty with Quraish Tribe.
The Muezzin said call-to-prayer and the prophet prayed noon prayer with the Muslims. Then he ordered the Muezzin to say '' persons that are the follower of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) should pray afternoon prayer in the neighborhood of Benny Qurayzah. After the tower of Benny Qurayzah was surrounded for a month, the prophet stated '' the Benny Qurayzah Tribe should surrender against the Muslims without any conventions since it was not far from the mind that they (such as the Bani Nazir Tribe) made the Muslims face to some troublesome dangers and made them lose their life due to the encouragement from the Arabic people that worshiped idols when they were from the sight of the Muslims.
