Don’t miss Asiyab Kharabeh ( ruined mill) waterfall!

Asiyab Kharabeh ( or Kharaba Dirman) is considered one of the most spectacular regions in the province of East Azerbaijan. It’s known as Asiyab Kharabeh as a result of the ruins of a water mill.
To reach the delightful place you should take the Marand- Jolfa road and enter Hadishahr. After a dirt road in the border strip between Iran and Azerbaijan Republic and passing through a subsidiary road you will get into a charming valley where Asiyab Kharabeh is placed. It’s 106 km from Tabriz to the subsidiary road leading from Jolfa to Alamdar. From Alamdar to the mill there is a 27-kilomeret dirt road.
This region boasts a spring whose water is supplied by the mountain of Kiyamaki. In the source of the spring there are fig trees. Its water from an extremely beautiful waterfall joins a current in the end of the valley and goes towards its north. On the right hand side at the end of the valley there are abundant waterfalls. All the surfaces of the valley’s walls are covered in aquatic plants and moss.
Hundreds of small and large scale waterfalls , the picturesque scenery and cool climate along with the soothing sound of the flow of water are among the pleasant highlights of the place.
The main waterfall’s height measures about 10 m in an area of 200 square meters.
