After the establishment of the Zionist regime in the occupied territories, the Christian Zionist movement, with Christian denunciation of Jews, focused their goals on the following topics:
1. Emphasis on the legitimacy of the State of Israel, based on fulfillment of Old Testament’s prophecy.
2. The emphasis on the legality of Israel's sovereignty over the entire Land of Israel (Eretz Israel), including the West Bank of Jordan River and Gaza Strip.
3. Reassuring Israel that the evangelical fundamentalists in America, for the security of Israel, obliged themselves to accomplish efforts and activities in the United States.
4. Stress on this issue that the Jews are God's chosen people and thus, God is partner of the Jewish supporters and enemy of the Jews’ opponents.
But victory of Zionism Regime in the June 1967 C. war, in the Christian Zionists’ sight, was considered far more important than the creation of Israel (1948 C.).
They knew this war and complete occupation of Jerusalem as the Bible’s prophecy and a sign of the imminent apocalypse.
All the evangelical fundamentalist tribes praised the Israeli military victory. Christianity writer of Today magazine wrote:
After two thousand years, for the first time, now Jerusalem is completely in the hands of Jewish. This gives us a new and deep faith in the accuracy and truthfulness of the content of the Bible.
Christian Zionist movement called this battle as the war between the forces of good and evil and during a wide publicity said that: now the small and unable Israel which is a sign of fulfillment of Bible’s prophecy is surrounded and threatened by the Arabs.
This movement already condemned Christianity silence to an imminent destruction of the Jews by the Arabs which will take place... and said that time has come to test ... and the Christian has been silent so that Arabs do the same with Jews as what Nazis did in World War II with them.
In the summer of 1981 C., Mike Evans, Bishop of Bedford in Texas, during a one-hour television program, entitled "Israel is the key to the survival of America", tried to show the role of Israel in the political fate of the United States.
He claimed that the Israeli withdrawal plan from the West Bank and other occupied territories after the 1967 C. war will lead to the destruction of Israel and then United States.
He said that God has ordered me clearly so that I run this special program in favor of the State of Israel. At the end of his program, which was broadcasting in the 25 states of the United States of America, he said: we Americans must inform our own boss, (Ronald Reagan) about our feelings toward Israel.
Evans in 1984 C. began to collect a million signatures of American Christian and demanded to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
He took the signature which were written in two volumes to Israel and gave them to Isaac Shamir, prime minister of Zionism Regime. Evans said: tears were in the eyes of him, and he told Shamir: "these Christians really love us."
Christian Zionism over the past decades began to form associations, organizations and centers of political activity in America and many Protestant and Jewish religious figures, writers, experts were joined them.
One of these organizations is the "Heritage Institute" that particularly had a significant influence on decisions of the White House and Congress during the Reagan’s presidency.
The Washington Post on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the institute has recognized it as a very decisive influence on United States policy toward the Middle East.
This institute had threatened that if the Committee members of UN try to annihilate Israel from membership in these committees, Israel by using the levers at its disposal will make the United States withdraw of membership in UNESCO and the United Nations and its specialized committees.
Christian Zionism in America with repetition and promotion of the slogan "Can we love Jesus without loving Israel?” is considered as one of the most important bases of the Zionist regime at the sight of this country's Jews.
in the first conference of Christian Zionism in 1985 C. which was signed in Basel, Switzerland, one of Israel who was participating in the meeting, objected the proposal to Israel's Regime based on annexation of the West Bank of Jordan River and the Gaza Strip, and said that public opinion polls conducted in Israel showed that the Israeli people are calling for exchanging land for peace. Thus, more flexibility is expected in the proposal. The official spokesman of the "International Christian Embassy" said:
"Israeli public opinion is not important, what is important for us is the realization of promise of God. God gave this land to the Jews. “
Thus, the proposal was approved unanimously.
Regardless of the varied institutes and societies that are coherent and organized in activities and supporting the Zionist policies, many priests and religious scattered populations with religious motives are active in this field as well.
In 10th of April 1997 C. algebraic colleagues of Christian America, attempted to insert a statement in the New York Times which stated their support of Israel.
In the mentioned statement, by emphasizing the words of the Bible, insisted on this issue that "Jerusalem" has been the spiritual and political capital of the Jewish people's during three thousand years.
In 1998 C. a Zionist pastor also from San Antonio, by the name of John Hagee, collected the amount of one million dollars from the people in aid for the Russian Jewish settlement in the Palestinian territories.
In response to this, who told him: "Your job is not compatible with international laws", he said: "I am a Christian wise man, and I am familiar with the Bible, and in my opinion the above divine law is the laws of the United States and Ministry of foreign affairs Department".
