The spring of Goshayrsh lies near the village of Goshayesh, 14 km southeast of Maragheh. From the village to the mineral springs in the southwest of the village it's about 700 m. A valley, home to the river of Mardi Chai, stretches here from east to west . There are two mineral springs inside the valley, one flows out of the ground in the south of the valley under calcareous rocks in a form of a small cave.
The abundant spring flows like a large current and pours into the river. Water and gas come out of the ground in this area and in some parts you can well hear their sound. The other spring on the northern part of the valley erupts from a hole in a calcareous rock, which stands out towards the river, under pressure and with a loud roar.
The slightly bitter waters of the springs contain calcic bicarbonate and magnesium and their temperature measures 25 degrees Celsius.
