Israelis didn’t think of anything except their own interests and objectives on their political and intelligence relations with imperial Iran. In times, when their interests’ preceded, they used Iran’s king as a representative of their own, and in other times, they used all Savak’s equipment and people in order to rescue their spies and intelligence officers. Iranian government, from the king to the directorate general of Savak, were ready to present any kind of intelligence and diplomatic services to Zionists. The document of Savak on this subject is related to the efforts of the officers of this organization, in order to rescue one of Israel’s spies from the jails of Egypt. In this letter, the representatives of Mossad in Tehran, disguised their name to Bahar, thank the directorate general of Savak:
Dear General Nematullah Nasiri,
On behalf of my own organization, I am glad to inform you that Baruch Mizrahi, is rescued on the occasion of freeing Egyptians prisoners, and he is back in home.
We simply cannot find any words to thank you for the help you did to us on the occasion of Mizrahi getting back to his family and the joyful success and the mindful helps of you, in the time he was prisoned in Yemen and Egypt.
Sincerely yours,
Bahar
After completing the mission and sending the message of Israelis to Egyptians, Mohammadreza Shah also received the answer of Anwar Sadat, and after getting back to Tehran, reports back to Israelis. Israeli governments (Isaac Robbin – the prime minister of Israel of the time) thanked the king for the actions and efforts he made, and Israel’s state claims his preparation for starting direct negotiations:
To the royal emperor of Iran, Mohammadreza Shah
1- As I have mentioned my statements today, the only way to a new era in the Middle East is to establish relationships between Egypt and Israel.
2- I willingly appreciate Egypt’s preparation for direct contacts between Israel and Egypt.
3- I am ready to start negotiations with Egypt, and in this case, I guess that a part of Sinai Peninsula would be given back to Egypt for its peace-seeking actions towards our negotiations.
4- The details of the negotiations are not necessary, but Israel appreciates any actions towards holding up direct negotiations between the two countries. Israel is ready for such direct contacts, and anytime Egypt gets ready, we will be ready to take actions.
5- I appreciate the respected king, Mohammadreza Shah, for declaring President Sadat’s message. By the means of his great leading skills, I hope that expected direct contacts between Israel and Egypt would be on.
6- I will be very pleased once every single action would be taken from the king to establish such contacts between Israel and Egypt.
7- I am waiting for you to answer this note.
8- We clearly put difference between possibility of Egypt’s preparation for negotiations with Israel without participation of other Arabic countries and direct negotiations. This fact that Egypt is ready for different negotiations was told to us by Mr. Kissinger. But the point does not guarantee that Egypt is ready to have direct negotiations with Israel.
The United States of America, being a go-between for establishing contacts between Israel and Egypt in the time of Sadat, and the exceeding will of Israelis for having negotiations with Egyptians were the subjects of the conversation between General Khufi and directorate general of Savak:
General Khufi [Hufi]: I don’t know anything about the result of the meeting of 7th November with Mr. Kissinger, because at that time, I have been in Tehran.
I assume that although there have been some helps, but still it is been tried to have contacts with Egyptians. Egyptians, at this time, want to have military assignments with us, and set military relations with us for the further future. They want us to leave our frontline in Sinai Peninsula and give the lands to them.
On the other hand, their alternative is to act how they have been.
Formerly, Egyptians agreed to open Babul Mandab for Israeli ships, and I expect them to let us transfer our commodities on ships to send it to other countries or get from other countries. Plus, this is not a political assignment. We are ready to do what they want, but we do it for a political assignment.
In military negotiations, only military officers take part.
They want to get something out of these negotiations without losing anything. Our aim is to establish peace. In any ways, we believe that negotiations help with neither war nor peace. Our state aims to have negotiations with Egyptians.
Savak and Iran’s state, being go-betweens between Egypt and Israel, and complete help of Iran to Zionist Regime in intelligence and political ways, exactly shows that Savak get to activity when the interest of Israelis were threatened or whenever Israelis wanted them to take action.
Mr. Kimchi […]: We are ready to take any actions or operations against Gadhafi, even if Egyptians ask us to. We are willing to contact President Sadat in any way Egyptians want to.
Directorate General of Savak: We examine it.
Mr. Kimchi: We are happy of the Cairo operation we did together.
Directorate General of Savak: That person is prisoned.
Mr. Kimchi: We were told that that person is going to get retired.
Directorate General of Savak: this fellow who was an officer in the ministry of foreign affairs worked for some other countries as well.
Mr. Kimchi: President Sadat is a mild person, but his life as a president wouldn’t be so long, and in order to do some security actions in our country, we should be informed of conditions and situations inside Egypt.
Directorate General of Savak: No one is qualified except for the defense minister.
He is popular in the army and is not dirty like many governments in there.
Israelis use any kind of tricks to convince Imperial Regime to be a go-between between Israel and Egypt. General Moshe Dyan, the minister of defense in the war of 1973, and minister of foreign affairs in 1978, gets to activity in a trip he made to Iran to meet Mohammadreza Pahlavi. After having discussions with King Mohammadreza, he also wants Nasiri, head of Savak, to help Israel in this field. Moshe Dyan’s statements towards achieving Israel’s objectives clearly shows the importance of the role of Iran in the region:
After getting into the front of the royal imperial king of Iran, Mohammadreza Shah, Genial Moshe Dyan had stated the below context:
We have been assured that if we contact Egypt, we will have agreements with this country, like the phone call we had to Jordan and with that, we have agreements with that country and our relations are safe. Because I have been reading in the news that President Sadat in going to have his holidays in Iran, I assume that I should make sure and asked the king, but he said this is not a fact, at least to them. I didn’t suggest to talk about the meeting between ours again. But now, I am imploring you to take action in this field if you see me through, so that if Egyptians are ready, we will have a meeting in Iran. Of course we do not intend to assign treaty with Egyptians in this meeting, what we do expect is to have a hidden agreement with them.
After all, the hidden diplomacy of Israel and the United States of America, and the go-between of Savak and King Mohammadreza, there grew some revolutions in the relations of Egypt and Israel.
In May 1977, Menachem Begin from the party of Liqoud, was elected to be the president of Israel.
The important confidential efforts in the disguise of hidden diplomacy for making agreement and peace between Israel and Egypt empowered day after another, and finally, Anwar Sadat, President of Egypt, had his historical trip to Jerusalem (Beyt-ol-moqaddas) in November 1977. Him, boarded on a 707 Booing Airplane, known as its secret name, Egypt 01, after having a short flight, he landed in Abu Suyer’s airlines in Ben Gourion airport, which has a minor distance to Tel Aviv… the best part of this trip was at Kenest (Parliament of Israel). That afternoon, him, standing on the tribune in Kenest, right under the picture of Theodor Hertcel, the establisher of Zionist’s first international congress was talking. Right before him, there was Isaac Shameer, the leader of a terrorist group known as Ishturn, introducing Sadat while Sadat was sitting next to him and Menachem Begin on the other side. So the conditions were flat for both sides to have a treaty in the American David Camp. The highest point in this matter was in summer camp of President Carter in 1987, and its final action was in March 1979, in the secret garden of White Palace with the presence of Jimmy Carter, the president of the United States of America, Anwar Sadat, the president of Egypt, and Menachem Begin, the president of Israel was taken into action, and the historical agreement were assigned by both sides, and the president of the United States of America signed the agreement as a witness.
This event was a part of Zionist Regime’s tactics in the way of its peripheral strategy in which King Mohammadreza and Savak played an important role in implementing it.
Anyways, after Sadat’s trip to occupied Palestine, General Khufi, head of Mossad, being very happy, in a letter to head of Savak, wants Savak and Mossad to continue their relations as the intelligence services:
To General Nasiri, Directorate General of Savak
November 26, 1977
Dear General Nasiri,
While I am writing this letter to you, it has been just a few time passed after President Sadat’s trip to Israel. You have been in the first contact with Egyptians on the matter of military fallbacks. We had talked a lot about our demand to have direct negotiations with Egyptians. When you were seeing this dream came true on the boob tune, I could imagine how happy you were in that moment. This was a historical meeting between Egypt’s brave president had his political grow and understood this matter very well that the only way to peace is direct negotiations the president and the people of Israel who welcomed this historical action very well.
Although there still are some obstructions in our way, nothing has been damaged or injured, but we consider this action a higher point in the history of fighting between both countries, and that’s why we welcome these actions.
Anyways, we are worried about the feedbacks of Palestine freedom organization, and some Arabic radical countries including Syria, Iraq, and Libya. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics supports these angers in the region just because it threatens the peace in the region and also they can get Egypt collapse by this action.
We precisely follow the situations and revolutions inside Arab’s World which with no doubt will affect the situations in our country. We are willing to negotiate with Iraq and Palestine by your help and your ability of gathering and communicating your information.
Sincerely yours – signed by Khufi
