Ingredients

2 medium onions
2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons powdered coriander
1 dessertspoon Salt
1 dessertspoon black caraway
1 dessertspoon black pepper powder
1 dessertspoon cloves powder
1 dessertspoon cardamon
1 dessertspoon ginger powder
1 dessertspoon cinnamon powder
1/3 glass fresh lemon juice
2 glasses yogurt
500 g lamb meat

Directions

In a mixing bowl, grate 1 onion and 1 clove garlic. Sprinkle with coriander, salt, caraway, black pepper, cloves powder, cardamon and cinnamon. Pour in fresh lemon juice and mix till smooth. Add in yogurt and stir well. Add stewing meat and mix properly till meat pieces are entirely covered in Yogurt. Keep in the fridge at least 2 hours or overnight. Remove and melt butter in a large non-stick frying pan. Chop the remaining onion and garlic and sauté in hot oil till golden a bit. Add in the stew mixture and allow to cook 2 hours on low flame. The dish is served either with bread or rice. Bon Appetit!
