Joseph Barrow Montefiore started exchanging money from adolescence and he became one of the 12 official Jewish bankers in the London Stock Exchange. In 1830, he migrated to Australia with his brother Jacob with large capital, and he bought thousands of hectares of land and started sheep and wool trade and mining. The brothers were founders of "Bank of Australia" and "State Bank of South Australia" and were trusted by William IV, King of England.
Abraham Montefiore's older daughter, from his first wife, married to Benjamin Mukata and his youngest daughter, from his second wife (Henrietta Rothschild), married with Sir Anthony de Rothschild, the son of Nathan Mayer Rothschild. One of the sons of Abraham Montefiore and Henrietta Rothschild, Joseph Meyer Montefiore (1816-1880) was vice-president "of the Council of Representatives of the Jewish community in Great Britain" since 1857, and since 1874, after Sir Moses Montefiore, he was president of the organization. His older son was called Sir Francis Abraham Montefiore (1860-1935) and Sir Moses Montefiore Baronet position was transferred to him. Another son of Abraham Montefiore and Henrietta Rothschild was called Nathaniel Montefiore (1819-1883) that married to the daughter of Sir Isaac Goldschmidt (Baron Palmyra). Claude Goldschmidt Montefiore was result of this marriage.
Claude Goldschmidt Montefiore (1858-1938), Jewish contemporary scholar and theologian, who is rooted in three famous Jewish dynasties of Rothschild and Goldsmith and Montefiore, ended his studies in Balliol College Oxford. He founded the famous Journal of Jewish Studies with his capital in the 1888 and also edited it. The Journal had an important role in growth of Jewish Contemporary intellectuals and religious thought and it is called as innovation heralded in Judaism and it became founder of a new intellectual movement called "Liberal Judaism". In 1920, Claude Goldschmidt Montefiore along with Baron von Hugel, Christian theologians, established "Association of Religious Studies of London". The society was a combination of Christian and Jewish scholars who were engaged in the theoretical philosophy of religion. Claude Montefiore is author of numerous works on religion and Judaism.
One of the sisters of Sir Moses and Abraham Montefiore married to Solomon Sebag (1783-1831). Sebag family- Montefiore is result of this marriage. Their son, Sir Joseph Sebag Montefiore (1822-1903), was one of prominent financial figures in London. In late days of Moses Montefiore's life, he was the closest to his uncle and property Ramzgeyt also inherited to him. Joseph was knighted in 1896. He played an important role in ownership of Palestinian lands by Jews and from 1895 until his death he was chairman of the "council of representatives of the Jewish community in Great Britain". Sir Joseph Sebag Montefiore married with a member of the Cohen family. One of his grandsons, Sir Tip Thomas Sebag Montefiore (1887-?) was Great Britain's military commander. One of his descendants named Hugh Williams Montefiore (1920-?) converted to Christianity and was episcopacy in Surrey, England. Another descendant of Joseph Harold Sebag Montefiore (1924-?) was from the British Conservative party leaders.
At the time of Nathan Mayer Rothschild's attempts in London, Benjamin Gompertz is another of his close relatives and partners and Moses Montefiore in London (1779-1865) who was appointed as a member of the Royal Society of Great Britain. Gompertz family is from Jewish immigrants from Spain that its branches are scattered in Europe, Britain and America.
In the early nineteenth century, in addition to Rothschild and Montefiore and Gompertz, the families of Samuel (London) and Myers (New York) were also the closest affinity of Cohen people, and consequently from Nathan Rothschild. In the next generation, one of the grandsons of Levi Barnert Cohen became wife of Sir David Salomonz and the other one married to the son of Nathan Mayer Rothschild London, Baron Mayer Amschel Rothschild. Hannah Rothschild, wife of Lord Ruzbry, was their only child and heir. In this generation, Cohen people married to members of Kaiser, Merton, Lucas and Micholls families and in later generations, they married to Moses, the Wally, Collier Fergusson, Schloss, Cobb, Behrens, Kish, Singer, Spielmann and Nathan families.
In addition to members of Montefiore and Rothschild, other related families also came to power and wealth in connection with Great Britain during the nineteenth century. In following paragraph we will show a brief picture of the situation of kinship network in contemporary two centuries. It should be noted that this is only an overview of the situation of the main house. If we follow kinship relations of each members we will get to an image of a huge plutocracy "tribe" that connects all or major part of members of the Jewish plutocracy families together worldwide based on a coherent system of kinship.
Doctor Reza Raees Tousi writes:
In this way, Sistan, the ancient land in Iran which was under total domination of Iran was granted to Empire of Britain and it was divided into two parts: 4159 square miles was given to Afghans, and 2848 square miles stayed for Iran. Afghans, who were trapped in complex English projects, were normally amazed by the case. They rejected taking land divided against Iran for a long time. King refused arbitration votes of Goldsmith till in 1873, he met London. In there, he was under heavy pressure and finally agreed.
Goldsmith later published his memories about the construction of the Indo-European telegraph line and boundary commission of Sistan. He is also the author of a biography of Sir James Aotram and has published articles in the Britannica Encyclopedia.
Goldsmith reached the rank of Major General in 1875. In the years 1880-1883, he was responsible for monitoring the project "Deir Sanieh" by demand of the Government of Great Britain. This was a project done by the Jewish plutocracy, especially Sir Ernest Cassel, in the Egyptian agricultural lands. According to the Jewish Encyclopedia, Congo's colonial bureaucracy was founded by Major General Sir Frederick John Goldsmith.
Henry Edward Goldsmith (1812-1855), a descendant of Abraham Goldsmith, was the youngest son of Aaron Goldsmith. Henry Edward Goldsmith ended his studies at the College Hillibory of East India Company and since 1832 he began his career in Mumbai. In the years 1847-1848, he was private secretary of Sir George Russell Clerk, ruler of Bombay (1847-1848, 1860-1862), and then, he was Bombay's General Commissioner of Finance and Tax. He died in Cairo. Major General Sir Frederick Henry Goldsmith married to the only sister of John Goldsmith. The result of this marriage is Colonel Albert Goldsmith.
Albert Edward Goldsmith (1846 to 1904) was born in Pune (India), and when he was 24 years, in spite of his parents who supposedly were "Christian", officially declared his dedication to Judaism. He was of the first passionate and fanatical new Zionist activists in pre-Herzl era, and was of the leaders of the English "Hovi Zion" (Lovers of Zion) organization. Albert Goldsmith had activity in the way of settling Jews in Palestine, reviving Hebrew and "Jewish nationalism" and had a profound impact on Herzl as a Jew and a fanatic extremist Zionist.
Albert Goldsmith joined the ranks of Great Britain's army in 1866, and he was sent to India. In 1892, he was discharged from the army for a year, and he went to Argentina by Baron Hirsch, a prominent Jewish plutocracy, for the administration of the "Union of Jewish colonies" (Ica).
According to Geoffrey Vigodr, Goldsmith looked at the plan as background for cultivating and promoting the ideals of "lovers of Zion", Revival of "Jewish nationalism" and a prelude to the establishment of the Jews in Palestine. Goldsmith said in an interview before heading to Argentina: "Jewish problem will never be solved unless it is backed by the major powers to create a Jewish state in the Land of Israel." he returned to England in the following year and was appointed as head of the "lovers of Zion". A little later, in 1894, he reached the rank of colonel and fought in the Boer War. In 1897, he was appointed as head of the "lovers of Zion" again.
Theodor Herzl was a close friend of Colonel Goldsmith, although apparently there was a competition between Herzl organization (Zionist Organization) and the Goldsmith's organization (lovers of Zion). However, once the London's Rochilds preferred Herzl organization to Colonel Goldsmith's organization, he started cooperation with Herzl. In 1903, he went to Cairo with Herzl for talks with Egyptian officials on Jewish settlement in Sinai. He was retired in 1903 and died a year later.
The only daughter of Colonel Albert Goldsmith married to Louie Samuel Montagu (Lord Sovaytling II).
Rothschild Family Network is not limited to the mentioned family members. Four important families are Stern, Samuel, Yitzhak (Isaac) and Sassoon.
