When Hazrat Fateme (peace be upon her) knew that Abu Bakr never wanted to give back Fadak as personal estate of Hazrat Fateme (peace be upon her). Then Hazrat Fateme requested Fadak as the inheritance of her father, but unfortunately, Abu Bakr referred to a false Hadith from the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) that bade
The prophets do not leave any inheritance and what is left from us is alms.
This narration has many problems which we will mention briefly.
First: this Hadith is in contrast with the verses of the Quran that have presented that the inheritance of Soleiman from Davud
Al-Namal / verse 16
In addition, it has narrated the story of Hazrat Zakaria, he requested exalted God to give him a child that be his inheritor
Maryam Surah/ verse 6-7 Second: Sunni great scientists, such as: Ebn Kharash, considers this Hadith false as Zahabi has narrated
Ebn Adi has narrated from Abdan that he said '' I said to Ebn Kharash '' what kind of Hadith is
He said '' it is false because Malek Ben Us was accused of lying ''.

Third: Hazrat Sedighe Tahere (peace be upon him) became angry from the reaction of Abu Bakr and he was not on speaking terms with him and he did not talk to him until the end of her life. Bokhari has narrated
Hazrat Fateme became angry and she turned away from Abu Bakr . This continued until her decease. In other words, she did not remain alive six months after the prophet.

Fourth: Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) followed the story of Fadak after the martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra and the death of Abu Bakr in the time of Abu Bakr caliphate.
Bokhari has written from the narration of Umar Ben Khatab
O'Abbas! You came to me and requested the share of inheritance of your nephew; Ali also came to me and requested the share of inheritance of his wife.

O' Abbas and Ali! You came and said for hundred times '' give back our rights from the properties of the prophet''.

The success of Imam Ali in taking back Fadak
Finally, the attempts of Imam Ali was useful and he took back the properties of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) according to the narration of Bokhari.
Umar Ben Khatab gave back the alms of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) to Ali and Abbas in Medina.

Yaghut Hamavi has also written
In the time of Umar Ben Khatab caliphate, after vanquishment and the welfare of the Muslims. The Ijtehad of Umar was based to give back Fadak to the inheritors of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants).

After Usman became caliph, he granted Fadak to his brother-in-law (his daughter's husband), Marvan. Abu Al-Fada has written in book '' Tarikh''
Usman granted Fadak to Marvan and Fadak was the alms of the messenger of God ( peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) that Hazrat Fateme took it back from Abu Bakr.

There is a question: regarding that the prophets did not leave inheritance and all of their properties are considered alms, why did Umar give it back to the inheritors of the prophet?
Why did Usman grant it to Marvan in contrast to the idea of Umar and Abu Bakr?
Hazrat Zahra (peace be upon her) bade to Abu Bakr
You need to know that God is the ruler of the doomsday; what a good ruler he is .our leader, Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) , will our trysting in the doomsday. On that day, bad people will not benefit and their penitence will have no use and each news has an appointed time. Finally, you will understand who will be punished forever.
