Ahmad Shaker, one of Sunni famous researchers, has corrected our narration and has answered faults made by the narrator of the narration (Abu Balaj Al-Fazari) in this way
The documents of this narration are valid. Abu Balaj is reliable and Yahya Bin Moein, Muhammad Bin Sad, Nasaee, Dar Ghatani and others have Tosikh him. It has been said in the book '' Tahzib'' that Bokhari has said '' there is fault in his reliability''. I do not know what book Bokhari has said this remark?'' why aren't there any faults about his biography in the book '' Tarikh Kabir'' , why hasn't he mentioned his his name in the book '' Tarikh Saghir'' and why hasn't he also mentioned his name in the book '' Tarikh Saghir''. Nsaee has considerd him as weak narrators. Shoabe Bin Al-Hojaj has not narrations from him whereas he narrates narrations only from the reliable persons.
-Mosnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal v 3 p 331 hadith no 3062; researched by: Ahmad Shaker; published by: Dar Al-Hadith Cairo; first edition; 1416 Hejira; 1995
2. Attributing this remark to Bokhari has not been proved:
As Ahmad Shaker has said, Bokhari has weakened Abu Balaj Al-Fazari in none of his books and he has mentioned his name in the book '' Tarikh Kabir'' without weakening him:يحيى بن أبي سليم قال إسحاق نا سويد بن عبد العزيز وهو كوفي ويقال واسطي أبو بلج الفزاري روى عنه الثوري وهشيم ويقال يحيى بن أبي الأسود وقال سهل بن حماد نا شعبة قال نا أبو بلج يحيى بن أبي سليم
-Al-Tarikh al-Kabir v 8 p 279; no 2996
We should hesitate about attributing this remark to Bokhari. But who is the source of this attributation? Ibn Edi attributed this remark to Bokhari in the book '' Al-Kamel'' for the first time and has said
I heard from Yahya Bin Moein that Abu Balaj is same Yahya Bin Abi Salim. I heard from Ibn Hemad that Bokhari said '' there is no fault in the reliability of Yahya Bin Abi Salim Abu Balaj Fazari that has heard narrations from Muhammad Bin Hateb and Umarv Bin Meymun.
-Al-Jorjani, Abdullah Ibn Adi Ibn Abdullah Ibn Muhammad Abu Ahmad (died in 365 Hejira) Al-Kamel Fi Zoafa Al-Rejal v 7 p 229; no 2128; researched by: Yahya Mokhtar Gharavi; published by: Dar Al-Fekr; Beirut; second edition; 1409 Hejira;; 1998
The narrator of this remark, Ibn Hemad that is same Muhammad Bin Ahmad Bin Hemad Al-Dulabi, has been weakened by Ibn Edi as Zahabi has written about him in the book '' Tarikh Al-Eslam''
Muhammad Bin Ahmad Bin Hemad was from Rei. Abd Al-Rahman Bin Abi Hatem, Abdullah Bin Edi and Tabarani have narrated narrations from him. Dar Ghotani has said '' a lot of things have been said about him when only goodness can be seen from him. Ibn Edi has said '' Ibn Hemad is accused and whatever he has said about Naeim Bin Hemad is his solidity about the people of Rei.
I say '' he has made Naeim Bin Hemad accused of telling a lie''. Ibn Yunes has said '' his job was industry and he has been weakened''.
-Al-Zahabi Al-Shafei, Shams Al-Din Abu Abdullah Muhammad Ibn Ahmad Ibn Osman (died in 748 Hejira) History of Islam and Vafiat Al-Mashahir and Alam v 23 p 276; researched by: D. Omar Abd Al-Salam Tadmeri; published by: Dar Al-Ketab Al-Arabi; Lebanon; Beirut; first edition; 1407 Hejira; 1987
Consequently, Bokhari has not weakened Abu Balaj and attributing this point of view to Bokhari is considered as a lie.
3. Abu Ishagh Al-Huini considers weakening Bokhari without any reasons:
Abu Ishagh Al-Huini, one of other contemporary Sunni researchers and the researcher of the book '' Khasaes '' of Nasaee has considered this narration good and then he has answered faults said about Abu Balajإسناده حسن.
The document of this narration is good. Yahya Bin Moein, Muhammad Bin Sad, the writer of the book (Nasaee) and Dar Ghotani have Tosikh Abu Balaj. Abu Hatam has said '' his narrations are right and there is no fault in him. However, Bokhari has said '' there is fault in his reliability''. From the point of view of Bokhari, this is considered as a severe weak, but I see no reason for it apart from the narration that he narrated from Umarv Bin Meymun and he narrated from Abdullah Bin Umar '' one day, they will by the hell and open its door, but no one will be there''. The scientists have found faults in Abu Balaj because of narrating this narration. I say '' Yaghub has narrated this Hadith. Zahabi has said in the book '' Mizan'' '' this narration is one of plights of Abu Balaj''.
On the face of it, finding fault in him is because of narrating this narration whereas narrating this narration does not cause that his narrations can be rejected.
-Khasaes Nesaee, p 34; researched by: Abu Eshagh Al-Huvaini Al-Asri Al-Hejazi Ibn Muhammad Ibn Sharif; published by: Dar Al-Kotob Al-Elmie; Beirut; first edition; 1405 Hejira; 1984
4. Ibn Hajar Asghalani criticized Abu Balaj because he was Shiite:
Ibn Hajar Asghalani is considered as Sunni Hafez and after he narrated a narration that there is Abu Balaj in its document , he has considered only the reason of criticizing him his Shiite religion. Then he has said clearly that his Shiite religion does not influence on the acceptance of his narration from the point of view of the scientistsوَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ إِلَّا أَبَا بَلْجٍ بِفَتْحِ الْمُوَحَّدَةِ وَسُكُونِ اللَّام بعْدهَا جِيم واسْمه يحيى وَثَّقَهُ بن مَعِينٍ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَجَمَاعَةٌ وَضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ بِسَبَبِ التَّشَيُّعِ وَذَلِكَ لَا يَقْدَحُ فِي قَبُولِ رِوَايَتِهِ عِنْدَ الْجُمْهُورِ.
The narrators of this narration are the narrators of Sahih Bokhari except Abu Balaj whose name is Yahya. Yahya Bin Moein, Nasaee and a group have tosikh him. A group has tosikh him because he is Shiite whereas his Shiite religion does not influence on the acceptance of his narration from the point of view of most of the scientists.
-Al-Asghalani Al-Shafei, Ahmad Ibn Ali Ibn Hajr Abolfzal (died in 852 Hejira) Fath Al-Bari Sharh Sahih al-Bokhari; v 10 p 182; researched by: Moheb Al-Din Al-Khatib; published by: Dar Al-Marefat; Beirut
You should pay attention to this point that there is no need to prove that he is Shiite except narrating this narration from Ibn Abbas. If it were supposed that we considered him a Shiite person with narrating this narration, we should already have considered Umarv Bin Meymun and Abdullah Bin Abbas a Shiite person and other narrators of this Hadith.
5. Shoabe Bin Hojaj narrates narrations from the reliable persons:
One of persons that has narrated narrations from Abu Balaj is Shoabe Bin Al-Hojaj. The Sunni scientists have said clearly that he narrates narrations only from the reliable persons. Narrating narrations through Shoabe from a person proves his reliability as Dr. Ahmad Shaker, the researcher of Mosnad of Ahmad Bin Hanbel, had said this matter clearly:وقد روى عنه شعبة، وهو لا يروي إلا عن ثقه.
Shoabe has narrated narrations from him whereas he narrates only from the reliable persons.
-Mosnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal v 3 p 331 hadith no 3062; researched by: Ahmad Shaker; published by: Dar Al-Hadith; Cairo; first edition; 1416 Hejira; 1995
Ibn Abd Al-Ber Ghortebi has written in the book '' Al-Tahmid'' about different kinds of the Morsel Narration and accepting some of them:
وقد يكون المرسِل للحديث نسى مَن حَدَّثه به وعرف المعزى اليه الحديث فذكره عنه فهذا أيضا لا يضر اذا كان أصل مذهبه أن لا يأخذ الا عن ثقة كمالك وشعبة.
Sometimes, the narrator of the Morsel Narration forgers a person that has heard narrations from him. But the next narrator that this person narrates from knows him and mentions his name. This story does not influence on the narration. If the opinion of this person is that we should narrate only from reliable persons, he will be like Malek Bin Anas and Shoabe Bin Al-Hojaj.
-Ibn Abd Al-Bar Al-Namri Al-Ghortobi Al-Maleki, Abu Omar Yousef Ibn Abdullah Ibn Abd Al-Bar (died in 463 Hejira) Al-Tamhid Lema Fi Al-Mowta Min AL-Maani and Al-Asatid; v 1 p 17; researched by: Mostafa Ibn Ahmad Al-Alavi; Muhammad Abd Al-Kabir Al-Bakri; published by: Vezarat Omum Al-Owghaf and Al-Shoun Al-Islami; Morocco; 1387 Hejira
Ibn Kasir Dameshghi Selfi has written in the book '' Takhlis Al-Esteghase''
the scientists of modification are the same as the scientists of Hadith and they aare divided into two groups: one group is persons that narrate only from the reliable persons such as : Malek Bin Anas, Shoabe Bin Al-Hojaj, Yaha Bin Saeid, Abd Al-Rahman Bin Mahdi, Ahmad Bin Hanbel , Bokhari and some persons like him.
-Ibn Kasir Al-Dameshghi, Abu Al-Feda Esmaeel Ibn Omar Al-Gharshi (died in 774 Hejira) Talkhis Ketab Al-Esteghase v 1 p 77;
Salehi Shami says about the tosikh of a person that Shoabe narrates narrations from him
Shoabe has narrated narrations from him whereas he narrates narrations from persons that are reliable from his point of view.
-Al-Salehi Al-Shami, Muhammad Ibn Yousef (died in 942 Hejira) Sabal Al-Hoda and Al-Reshad; Fi Sirat Kheir Al-Ebad; v 12 p 378; researched by: Adel Ahmad Abd Al-Mojud and Ali Muhammad Moavez; published by: Dar Al-Kotob; first edition; 1414 Hejira
Abu Saeid Keikledi says
One of kinds of the narration is that the narrator of the Morsel narration forgers from whom he has heard narrations, but he knows the text well and then he narrates it as morsel because his main foundation is that we should narrate narrations only from the reliable persons such as Malek and Shoabe. Hence, sending narration to it will have no problem.
-Al-Alai, Abu Saeed Ibn Khalil Ibn Kikladi (died in 761 Hejira) Jame Al-Tahsil Fi Ahkam Al-Marasil v 1 p 88; researched by: Hamdi Abd Al-Majid Al-Salafi; published by: Alam Al-Kotob; Beirut; second edition; 1407 Hejira; 1986
It has been said in the book '' Al-Nokt Ali Moghadame Ibn Al-Selah''
Faede: persons that are in the habit of narrating narrations from the reliable persons include three persons: Yahya Bin Saeid, Shoabe and Malek. Ibn Abd Al-Ber and others have said this remark. Nasaee has said ''Among obedients, these three persons are the best trustees about the Hadith''.
-Abdullah Ibn Bahador, Badr Abi Abdullah Muhammad Ibn Jamal Al-Din (died in 794 Hejira) Al-Nokat Ali Moghamat Ibn Al-Salah; v 3 p 370; researched by: D. Zein Al-Abadein Ibn Muhammad Bala Farij; published by: Azva Al-Salaf; Al-Riyadh; first edtion; 1419 Hejira; 1998
Hence, narrating narrations by Shoabe through Abu Balaj will prove his reliability.
