FIN BATHHOUSE is in the FIN garden of KASHAN. This old bathhouse is famous for the murder of MIRZA TAQIKHAN AMIR KABIR, the Chancellor of NASERODIN SHAH of QAJAR, which happened on January 20, 1230 (solar year).
There are two bathhouses in the southern part of the FIN Garden, which are known as the Small and Large Bathhouses. Small bathhouse is one of the works of SAFAVID period. It was constructed along with the early foundation of the FIN Garden. The bigger bathhouse was built in the QAJAR era by FATHALI SHAH.
Large bathhouse was dedicated to governors and a small bathhouse was for servants. In each of the bathhouses, there are sections of entrance, hothouse, waterfall, magazine, cleaning room and dressing room. There are channels for changing the water of pools and ponds on the floor of the bathhouses. Bathhouse walls were covered with special moisture insulation (Sand, lime or SAROOJ). This bathroom has many corridors and has beautiful architecture. This bathroom was registered on the World Heritage List in 2003.
