Hezari is a traditional dish in Hormozgan Province.
Recipe 1
Ingredients,
Rice, 350 g
Fish, fillets, 700 g
Fried, golden onions, 1 tbsp
Red bell pepper, 1 dessertspoon
Lemon powder, 1 dessertspoon
Turmeric powder, as required
Black and red chilli pepper powder, as required
Salt, to taste
Procedure
  Hezari
First clean the fillets and sprinkle salt and turmeric over them for 30 minutes. After that, wash them properly. Fry Onions in a little oil and then add in the fillets stirring several times. Once they are fried a little, sprinkle in salt, pepper, turmeric and lemon powder and sauté.
Be careful not to crush the fillets. Soak the rice in water and then bring it to a boil. Drain the water. Now put fillets over rice in several layers, one layer rice one layer fish, and cook for 1 hour.
Recipe 2
Rice, 350 g
Fish , fillets, 1 kg
Onions, sliced, 2 nos
Red bell pepper, 1 dessertspoon
lemon powder, 1 dessertspoon
Turmeric, red chilli pepper powder and salt, as required
Procedure
Wash rice and strain after bringing it to a boil. Keep it aside. Clean fillets and sprinkle salt and turmeric over them and allow it to marinate for 30 to 40 minutes. Then wash and drain water.
Fry Onions till golden in color then add the fillets stirring every now and then till they are fried too. Sprinkle salt, pepper, turmeric and lemon powder and keep on stirring a bit.
Make sure not to chop or crush the fish by stirring. Now place the fillets over rice in several layers and let it cook well. The recipe caters for 4 to 6 people.
