The traditional cuisine is tried in Shiraz.
Ingredients
Beet, 1 no
Rice, 1 1/2 glasses
Ground meat, 5 00 g
Split peas, 1/2 glass
Pomegranate juice, 2 glasses
Dried mint powder, 1 tbsp
Fried onions, 2 tablespoons
Directions
Grate the beet and cook in water in a pot.
Make meatballs (hazelnut-sized) out of the minced meat.
Add in the rice, split peas,meatballs, dried mint as well as fried onions into the pot. Once the rice is cooked, pour in the pomegranate juice and allow it till all the ingredients are well-done. In case the pomegranate juice is very sour add in a cup of sugar.
Once Ash is thickened, switch off the heat and remove to a desired bowl. Garnish with sautéed mint and fried onions. Serve hot. Bon Appetit!
