Hasanak Vazir

Hasanak Vazir was one of the most important people in Ghaznavid era, but he did not appreciated by them and they replied his services unfair.
Hasan Ebn-e- Mohammad Mikal, with title of “Amir Hasanak Mikal Neishaboori” was the last minister of the King Mahmood Ghaznavi. He was always with Mahmood from when he was very young. when Mahmood became the king, appointed Hassanak as the governor of Neishaboor. Then when he showed competence and eligibility, He was transferred to the court of Ghazni and Sultan Mahmood deposed Ahmad Hasan Meimandi and appointed Hasanak as his minister. Khanad Mir, in his book “Dastorol Vozara” about Hasanak said: “his word was sweet, his act was gentle, his temper was acuity and his mind was severity. “But he was not skillful in writing and militancy.
According to “History of Beihaqi”, he has an important and closed position to Sultan Mahmood, with high power, wealth and glory. Mahmood took care of him as much as, when jealousies told him hasanak is a “Qormati” and also when Caliph send him a letter and wrote that Hasanak is a “Qormati”, Mahmood replied sharply and said: “I grew him up and he is like my son and my brother, if he is a “Qormati”, so do I. “
three important enemies of Hasanak included: Caliph of Baqdad, Masoud Ghaznavi and Boosahl Zoozani.
Caliph of Baqdad was his enemy, from when Hassanak was turning back Hajis from Haj pilgrimage and he did not lead them in Badia path, but lead them in Fatemian territory and Caliph of Egypt gave him robe. However, he should visit Caliph of Baqdad. Masoud was his enemy because of three reason; first because he called Masoud down when he was minister. Second because he defended Amir Mohammad, and third because he insisted on his believes to the last day of his life and never asked him forgiveness. The reason of his third enemy, Boosahl Zoozani for killing him, was because Hasanak did not care about him.
but it seems that the main reason of killing him was his sharp tone, as he told Abdous; “go and say to your majesty I do every thing my Lord ordered me, when you become the king you can make Hasanak down.” in the meantime, Hasanak who had played all the negative roles of History of Beihaqi, also provided the reasons for killing him.
Against all contempt and disdain they allowed about Hasanak, he did not care any more and treated them inattentive. For example, in a session they wanted to deed his property to Masoud, Minister asked him kindly” How are you?” and Hasank replied “thanks God” and did not complain any more, and what made him more bright was his comfort and pride and inattention about death.
In all history of Beihaqi, there is no sign and attribute related to disability and ignominy of Hasank. He even never sent an intercessor to Masoud to save himself.
