SWIM

A man jeopardized his life and jumped in the boisterous waves of the lake to save a boy's life, after saving him, the boy overcome his anxiety and panic caused by thought of sinking, then said : thank you sir
The man looked in his eyes directly and said: there is no need to say thank you my son, just make sure that your life had worth saving….

Childish innocence

An anthropologist proposed a game to some African young boys:
He put a basket full of fresh fruit near a tree and told them: any of you who reaches it first, will win that delicious fruit.
When he commanded to run, all children took each other's hand and reached the tree.
When anthropologist asked them about their behavior though one could win all of the fruit alone, they said: Ubuntu, how come one of us can be happy while others are unhappy!!
(Ubuntu in the Xhosa culture means I am because you are)

Finch and fire

A finch approached the fire in hurry and returned!

Asked: What are you doing?

Replied: a spring is around here and I fill my beak with water and shed it on the fire!
Said: the mass of fire in compare to what you bring is very much! And your attempt is useless!
She said: maybe I can not extinguish the fire but when God asks what did you do when your friend was on fire?
I'd answer: I did whatever I could (I did my best)!
