Human needs

Few theoreticians of social sciences consider the characteristic of the human social environment as an effect of varied human needs; because his or her needs with attention to hidden talents in his or her personality, with etiquette, exchange of ideas and creation of good terms with fellow-creatures are provided in a healthy society. In fact, they consider that the society is composed of a number of individuals who for the satisfaction of their needs have social terms with each other and even their purpose of social terms is the mutual assistance of human beings with each other in order to satisfy the needs. So, the goal of human beings is the provision of needs and tools of those social terms.
Therefore, the social life and creation of a bond between individuals is for the reason that the material and spiritual needs of an individual are better secured in a society.
Some of the human needs are fulfilled only in the society and some others can be defectively availed in the individualistic life and will be completely fulfilled in a society.
In the psychology, for the categorization of the human needs, various theories have been presented, but in the first look the need of individuals for one another can be divided into two main categories:
1- The need of a human being to others in the principle of existence and his or her emergence, such as the need of a child to his or her father and mother. This need can be considered as a base for the systematization of the social terms and as a criterion for the determination of their values.
2- The need of a human being to others in the span of his or her life; this kind of need can be divided into two groups:
A- The needs that an individual directly has to the other individual, such as the need of a patient to a physician.
B- The needs that an individual indirectly has and with the help and participation of others – although with several intermediates – can resolve them, such as the need of an individual to the proficient, technical and design forces where their ideas are exploited in the industry and its final product will eliminate the need of an individual.

Correlation factors

The factors that lead to the correlation in the social life of a human being and can be divided into the following three main groups:

1- Natural factors

The purpose of natural factors in the correlation of the social life of human beings is a generic instinct that leads to the nearness of two individuals and consequently the formation of a family. This factor is the most natural factor for forgathering of human beings; because a healthy and natural individual very well realizes that if he or she is alone his or her human and social life has not been completed and he or she needs that primarily form a small community known as the family and then with the assistance of spouse and children, move towards the formation of a community. In other words, the small communities (family) with gradual expansiveness form the societies.
Of course it should be accepted that the generic desire is the only direct factor in the formation of a family. But from the point that the families also create the primary nucleuses of the society, this factor with an intermediate can be considered effective in the formation of a big society.

2- Sentimental factors

In the existence of human beings there is a need of love and sentimental relations which leads to the establishment and maintenance of bilateral affectionate relationship with the other person.
In the viewpoint of `Schutz’, this need is not only satisfied with the balance of human relations and but also is secured through the expression of love to others and being loved by others.
Even in the sociology there is always utterance of the organization of the prime group that its emotional motive more than profiteering goals is the main factor in the formation of that group. The relations between the family members, relatives and neighbors are the sample of this prime group. It is natural that sentiments among the members of this group will prevent the separation of this community.
However, the scope of the sentiments can be considered more extensive and divided into two groups:
1- The emotions that are subsidiary of the natural factors such as the family emotions among two soul mates and their children.
2- The emotions that are not subsidiary of the natural factors, but is evolved from the formation of the community between individuals and can be influential in the survival of the society and strengthening of the social relations. When a person feels that other people, are carrying out the services that are benefiting him or her and satisfy his or her needs in the social life, his or her emotions and love for them is kindled.
It can be said that sentiments do not have creation role in the formation of a social life and the realization of the society, but has an effective role in the fortification and strengthening of social relations and its continuance.
Consensus is an affinity and bonding……..A man with aliens is as a bond
O, many Hindu and Turkish are in harmony…….O, perhaps two Turkic like aliens
So the intimation language is itself another language…..Concordance is better than harmony
From the viewpoint of Islam, one should consider the following two points:
1- The real social sentiments are the same affection and love that arises among the faithful people and make them nearer to each other in comparison to the family members. The commanders of the faithful (peace be upon him) mentioned that: `Friendship and affection (to others, is a kind of) is an acquired kinship’.
One of the comrades of Imam Kadhim (peace be upon him) mentioned that I accessed the holiness, though one of the other comrades was with him. I smiled at that individual. Imam mentioned: Whether you like him? I said: Yes, and I like him only because of you. The holiness mentioned: He is your brother. Honestly the pious brother is accounted on his father and mother, although he is not born from his father.
The Almighty God considers the creation of affective and love among the pious men as one of the greatest blessings of his and in bestowing of this blessing on the pious men, has put an obligation to them and always has reminded them to appreciate this blessing and strive for its permanency: and remember the blessing of Almighty God for yourself that you were once enemies. So the Almighty God has bestowed kindness and affection in your hearts and under the shadow of his blessing you became brothers.
If in a society, there is no spiritual relation and people cast their social relations based on the material benefits and the axis of their friendship and sentiments is only materials, then that society will never reach growth and promotion. In this manner, the Almighty God has bestowed the social emotions on the axis of faith and piety and has prevented the pious men to form emotional relations with atone.
O those that trusts in God! You should not make unbelievers instead of pious men your friends.
O those that has belief! Except yourself, do not take a confidant (friend) because they will not do anything else other than harming and affecting you and get pleasure from your suffering and the enmity is shown in their speech and what they have hidden in their chests, is still worse.
Those that make unbelievers instead of pious men as their friends, whether they will find the honor in their side (this is a false belief); since all the honor is from the Almighty God.
O those that has belief! Don’t make friendship with my enemy and your enemy.
The pious men and the pious women are friends and lovers of one another.

3- Intellectual factors

The most important factor in the emergence of a society and the formation of a social life is the intellectual factor. The intellect of each individual recommends the formation of a society on the axis of the provision of material and spiritual benefits to a human being; because a human being finds that alone, he or she is not able to secure his or her needs and also should be diligent to fulfil the needs of others.
In the religious attitude, the human beings that are living in a society are all the servants of Almighty God and the goal and the demand of the Almighty God is that all the individuals must grow. It should be noted that ``I’’ also am one of the individuals of this society and I should attain my goal, but this is not right that other individuals are sacrificed because of me; since this matter is not compatible with the general purpose of creation; because Almighty God has not created other human beings for ``me’’ but demands such that human beings are advantageous for each other and their life basis are structured on the basis of association and cooperation: to aid each other in the goodness and piety and not help in sin and tyrant.
Imam Sadegh (peace be upon him) mentioned that: `The individuals who are pious men are servants of one another.’ The narrator says: ` I asked: how they will be servants of one another!?’ The holiness mentioned that: `They avail profit for one another.’
Islam infers that the human beings based on the provision of their material and spiritual stuffs get united with each other and form a unified society and or a unified nation.
The important point is that Islam has considered the spiritual axis more than the material pivots and has strived that all the human beings are united on the axis of the religious right that is the factor to provide material and spiritual stuffs to human beings and not accept the sole provision of the material interests for themselves.
In the case of domination of material interests, the social life cannot be formed, but, like some of the animals, they will have gregarious and collective life where the background of growth and perfection of humanity will never be secured in that life. An example of this kind of human societies, despite the technology advancement we are witnessing in the twentieth century wherein it is assumed that the social life of the human beings has been advanced, although this visualization is nothing but an imagination.

The status of correlation in the contemporary world

The relations of the individuals in the social life and the structure of the human society, has gradually moved from a primitive and simple state towards the complexity and getting more complex, similar to the human beings that also had a noticeable movement in the tools and technologies, especially in the twentieth century, as a result of which those human beings have become aliens with themselves and have turned into an existential species wherein that technology and industry wanted them to turn out in that manner.
If the trend of the life of human beings goes on in the same manner, most of the human relations among them will be eliminated and this issue can be dangerous for the future of the humanity. Whether the human beings had the same progress in the improvement of the structure and social formation as he or she had advanced in the technology!? Whether the relations of human beings with each other and creation of the good relations among them also had advancement? Whether the modern human beings have advanced in the same ratio in their feelings to help others as they had advanced in the industry and technology!? Whether the exploitation of a human being by the other human being has been eliminated and or has been increased to a newer form!? Whether the number of human beings in comparison to the other human beings has reduced!? Whether in the same ratio that the human social structure has evolved in the diverse organizations, the violation of human rights has also reduced!?
Against the ever-increasing flood of these questions, the following three viewpoints can be set forth in this regard:

1- The pessimistic outlook

On the basis of this outlook, the technology advancement had brought about nil useful social bounty and not only we did not witness the social advancement, but also the human comfort and peace has been endangered.

2- The optimistic outlook

They have considered the material prosperity of the human beings as the criterion for the advancement and seek the happiness of human beings in the provision of his or her material needs in the possible most comfortable option. From the viewpoint of this outlook, the updated industrial and technological gradual perfection has made the life of a human being easy, and has provided him or her needed comfort.

3- The realistic outlook

In this outlook initially the relations of human beings are categorized and with respect to each division, a theory is presented.

A- The relation of a human being with the nature:

The ability of a human being to enjoy the natural resources and the blessings of the Almighty God.

B- The relation of a human being with the society

The creation of the social structure and systems and formation of the social organizations.

C- The relation of a human being with him or herself and other human beings
The quality of the social communications among the individuals.

It is doubtless that in the first two sections, the human beings had a substantial progress, but in the third section where the reality of humanity is dependent on it we did not witness any progress.

The last section can be considered in two forms:

1- Whether in parallel with the industrial and technological advancement, this section also had a progress!?
2- Whether the industry and technology advancement had left a negative impact on this section!?
It should be accepted that in the third section not only there was nil advancement, but even we witnessed a kind of throwback (retrogression); because the primitive human due to the verdict of progressive and mobilized equipments lack to the necessary technologies, was carrying out his or her crime more explicit and more blunt, but the civilized man and with the modern culture, carries out the same crimes under the shadow of the technologies, in a chic and alluring encrustation and or a new form where the radius of his or her crime is much broader than that of the primitive humans.
The corruption is obvious in the present era ……….and the heaven is ashamed of his or her indecency.
