Hamedan is famous for its Ganjnameh and Ganjnameh for its waterfall. The main waterfall in the province of Hamedan is located nearby the city of Hamedan in the recreational resort of Ganjnameh.
Famous inscriptions are remaining from Achaemenid era near the waterfall . Inscribed in the ancient Persian, Elamite and Babylonian languages ,they date from Darius and Xerxes . They are engraved on the royal route of the time so that the caravans read them once they stop to rest and figure out the magnificence of the king’s dynasty. They are no longer placed on the royal routes; now over the time in the heart of rocky mountains and on the path to the waterfalls of Ganjnameh and Alvand.
The sightseers and travelers shouldn’t miss these two inscriptions once in Hamedan.
