Impressive Anzali wetland

The wetland of Anzali is located about 40 km north of Rasht, southwest of the city of Anzali and the Caspian sea.
Its area increases in winter and spring due to a raise in rainfalls and reaches about 120 square kimometers and in summer and autumn it decreases into almost 80 square kilometers.
The internationally-recognized wetland is a nice habitat for the aquatics and migratory birds. Furthermore, it is a suitable place for spawning fish, especially the white fish. Regarding its striking beauty, the natural water ecosystem can be a draw for many tourists and sightseers.
