The waterfall of Damji Ghiyah is located in East Azerbaijan province, east of the village of Daragh, 3 km northeast of the city of Zonooz. It falls through the calcareous rocks and pours in a large hole nearby. It measures a height of about 5 m, at an altitude of 2,008 m.
Daragh is a village which lies in the rural district of the central district of the city of Marand. Among the cold places of Iran, it features long cold winters, fairly cold springs and autumns as well as mild summers. Almost 6 months of the year it is frozen.
The average annual precipitation measures about 397 mm. Farvardin, the first month of the Iranian year, is the highest in rain and snow falls, 67 mm, and Mordad, the second month of summer, is the lowest, 4 mm. The average annual temperature goes 12 degrees Celsius.
To access it, you can go through Marand-Jolfa road, Zonooz three-way road, after the city of Zonooz, onto the village of Daragh.
It flows 2 km east of the village of Daragh past by agricultural lands.
