Mobarakeh is one of the major cities in Isfahan Province and its official and political center is Mobarakeh. The city includes 2 parts, 5 towns, Mobarakeh, Dizicheh, Talkhuncheh, Karkovand, and Ziba Shahr, and 34 villages in 5 rural districts. The city covers an area of 1024/5 square km in the entire province of Isfahan.
Mobarakeh is located 50 km southwest of Isfahan, 35 km northwest of Shahreza, and about 45 km east of Borojen. The city extends north to Lanjan and northwest to Falavarjan.
It is located at the longitude of 51/13 to 51/48 and north latitude of 29/45 to 32/22.
The city lies at an altitude of 1,670 m above sea level and the general slope of the land goes from south to north and east to west.
The average temperature in the region is 12 ° Celsius and the winds blowing from southwest makes the air balanced. Its legal boundary in the comprehensive plan of Mobarakeh City, extends in an area of 265 sqsquare km, keeping into account Aghmari neighborhoods, Ghohnuyeh, Mohammadiyeh, Sara Rud, Dehno, Sheikh Abad, Ismail Tarkhan, and Safaiyeh and its protected land covers an area of 760 square km.
History
The name was given since Amin Alsoltan, the minister of Shah Safavid served in the region and it was common at least until late 13th century AH.
Thanks to his honesty and virtue, a subterranean canal was also built in his name which caused the first Tribe to settle in the region and then it was encompassed by fences and several gates were made for coming and going.
Four of them can be recognized as the main gates, one in East, the other in West and the next two more in North.
The oldest neighborhoods in Mobarakeh include, Mokhtariha, Heidar Abadiha, Hajiha, Ghale Soleyman, Ghale no, Rasiha, Aghmari Ghahnuyeh, Dehno, Mohammadiyeh, Sheikh Abad, Sara Rud, and Ismail Tarkhan.
