The dish belongs to Fars Province.
Ingredients,
Meat, with high fat, 500 g
Lentils, debris and stones removed, 500 g
Kohlrabi, 3 nos
Onions, a few
Dried lime, a few
Spices, as per taste
Procedure
Remove the skin of the kohlrabi and cut it in pieces. Place a pot over the flame and put inside meat, shredded Kohlrabi, and chopped onions. Season to taste with salt, pepper and turmeric. Let it cook over the heat.
Before the process of cooking is done, pierce dried limes with a fork and add to the content of the pot. Interesting to know, Yakhni Nokhod does n't need dried limes. Once the gravy is done, keep it aside for Trid, which is cutting bread in pieces into the gravy. You can drizzle lemon juice over. Smash the solid ingredients like meat, Lentils and Kohlrabi. Enjoy it!
