Foods in Hamedan are diverse. Here is a new one.
Ingredients
Wheat groats, soaked in water overnight, 1 glass
Soaked rice, 1/2 glass
Soaked split peas, 1/2 cup
Peeled and chopped tomatoes, 5 to 6 nos
Onion, finely chopped, 1 no
Garlic cloves, finely chopped, 5 to 6 nos
Minced meat and fried with 1 grated onion, 250 g
Water, 8 glasses
Herbs such as, leek, parsley, coriander, fenugreek, 500 g altogether
Tomato paste, 1 whole tablespoon
Salt, pepper and turmeric for seasoning
Unripe grapes juice , 1/2 glass, its amount depends on your own taste

Directions
Put the soaked groats, Rice and split peas inside a pot with water till cooked. Add in fried minced meat and onions and after 10 minutes stir in tomato paste, raw chopped onions and garlic cloves. Again give it 10 more minutes over the medium heat. Add in cubed tomatoes as well as finely chopped herbs. Once the vegetables are cooked, remove to a deep bottomed dish and garnish with fried mint powder, Onions and Kashk, a diary product used in Persian cuisine. Serve hot and make sure to pour in the grapes juice just before serving. Bon Appetit!
