You are into Samosas but you can't get close to them since you're frightened of gaining weight? You can try this recipe which is not only delicious but also rich and non-fattening.
Ingredients
1 cup Flour
1/2 cup Green peas, Boiled and mashed
1/2 cup Green beans, Boiled and finely chopped
1/2 cup Rice, half-cooked
2 green chili peppers, finely chopped
2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
1 dessertspoon sugar
1 dessertspoon ajowan
1/2 dessertspoon oil
Salt and pepper for seasoning
Oil for frying
Directions
Set a frying pan on the heat, grease with 1 dessertspoon oil and sauté ajowan seeds. Then add in green peas as well as green beans and keep sautéing a bit.
Pour in fresh lemon juice and add sugar, chopped green peppers, the seasoning ( salt and pepper), as well as rice and sauté 3 to 4 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and allow to cool.
Make 8 to 10 thin round bread out of the prepared dough. Shape the bread into funnel-shaped Samosas and fill the inside with the sautéed mixture. Bring the edges close. With a spoon of flour and a little water make a creamy paste to connect the edges together. Fry the Samosas in hot oil in a skillet and serve with your desired sauce. Bon Appetit!
