Ingredients
Serves 6 to 82 medium carrots
1 glass rolled oats
1 onon
1 chicken breast
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons butter
1 glass milk
Salt and powdered black pepper for seasoning
Procedure:
Put the chicken breast inside a pot along with onion and sat and pepper. Pour in 4 glasses of water.Allow the chicken to cook. Take out chicken and onion. Add in the grated carrot and rolled oats to the chicken stock. Bring to a boil again and then reduce the heat. Cut the chicken into shreds and add into the soup. Remember to stir frequently.
To prepare the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan on low heat. Gradually, sprinkle in the flour and saute a bit. Pour in milk and stir well to have a thick and smooth soup.
When ready, add in the sauce and continue simmering over low heat till settled.
Cooking points:
The dish makes you feel full. So it is recommended to ladle it into small bowls as starter for the guests.It is not good for the sick as some ingredients are fried in the cuisine.
