The combination of "Islamic Philosophy" is a combination that for the one its meaning becoming clear, the two key concepts that are present in it , "wisdom" and "Islamic" should be analyzed. So, in this regard, it is necessary to point out a few things
1) Initially, there is issue of "wisdom"; What sort of meaning we should keep in mind about wisdom? We know that wisdom in history of thinking is usually used in hree different meanings; Sometimes the purpose of wisdom istheoretical thinking, as in the works of Greek philosophers and Islamic philosophers like Ibn Sina and Ibn Rushd and Khajeh Nasir Al Din Tosi is being seen and Sometimes the also the purpose of wisdom is knowledge and intuitive taste, as our mystic and others like Suhrawardi and Mulla Sadra have regarded this issue. Sometimes also the goal of wisdom are doctrine that teaches us lessons of life.
This meaning of wisdom shows itself to us more clearly that we speak of its relationship with philosophy. Philosophy means love of wisdom and knowledge. So, in terms of literal meaning, the philosopher is someone who is interested in knowledge and wisdom and tries to love and acquire it. Nevertheless, philosophy has passed long history and for any definition of it,we should referred to this background. The philosophy has experienced epistemology , Cosmology and linguistics and has left behind philosophers such as Plato, Aristotle, Plotinus and Augustine and philosophers and has reached philosophers such as Descartes, Leibniz and Spinoza and after that time has suffered many ups and downs. In any era,epistomology has upperhand over other eras and we see the ear that even the linguistics placed at the top of the world. In addition, we see branches of the philosophy that is joined with "the science of interpretation" and another group had occupied topics and subjects of their minds and language. In other words, we see both hermeneutics and existentialism and the philosophy of language and mind and philosophy of science or the philosophical look at cinema, technology, arts, society and morality and either definition we offer about philosophy and philosophers, must not and can not give away vast areas of contemplation. Wisdom as philosophical and theoretical thought is not also independent of this history but, wisdom to its second sense, includes type of mystical and intuitive wiadom that get us closer to reality.
Wisdom in third meaning, refers to a knowledge that offers the Plan Work. For this reason, the practical suffix is added to wisdom. However, wisdom with this outlook refers to a set of teachings and rituals that is supposed to be considered as the basis of action and movement. Wisdom demands that despite of the final , definite and practical solutions to put practical solutions before human so that he faces more seriously with his problems and ordeals. A look at the teachings of the sages of the world as Buddha, Confucius, Lao Tzu, Zarathustra and Gandhi reveals this meaning of wisdom. Since their procedures are very similar to advices that the man can use them due to a variety of situations that is in. In other words, the wises wants to provide lessons to a better life, without having a fancy theoretical system in the mind.
Of course, when we speak of Islamic philosophy we consider each three meaning of wisdom, both theoretical knowledge , intuitive knowledge and teachings that gives us life lessons, in the system of theology, the principles, philosophy, jurisprudence, interpretation , physics and mysticism are part of Islamic philosophy. These knowledge contains first and second sense of wisdom; sciences such as philosophy, jurisprudence , philosophy and the principal of the firs meaning of wisdom that is meant theoretical knowledge and sciences such as mysticism consider its second meaning. If we want to provide meaning of some of our definition, we can say the word is rational sense of the religious principles. The principle is a knowledge that determines the rules of the concequenced rules of the origional texts. The law also is meant as the expanded of these rules , rights and duties. In this regard, the philosophy is a knowledge that is trying based on rational principles to achieve an understanding of the world and the man. Mysticism is also a knowledge based on personal experience and the taste analysis and its difference with philosophy is that its source and its origion is not the rational but intuition and inner visio. Meanwhile, all Islamic culture, have been influenced by these three aspects of knowledge. Society, economy, art, industry and politics of theoretical knowledge, taste and practical wisdom in the Islamic world. For example, the wisdom of Islamic art in this context means the theoretical knowledge playing a role in the formation of Islamic art and also including tasting and intuitive education that have advanced the Islamic art, as well as the practical teachings that guided these art. Art, like many other areas is not a range to be grown in a rootless context and develops. Hence, the art needs a bed, tradition and deep identity to be able to continue its growth. This wisdom is tradition and identity that provide the context for art and wisdom of Philosophy of Islamic art with respect to the definitions makes sense .
The important question is that where have the status of Islamic art philosophy and other wisdoms of divine art philosophy in science-driven and philosophy-driven have gone? Fortunately, unlike the initial process of modernity that was at odds with any knowledge of modern knowledge and did not welcome them but , now, the positive approach rather than some knowledge (such as science and modern philosophy) has been started. Even some historians and philosophers of science such as "Feyerabend" and "Cohen" also have insisted on this position, therefore, philosophy in general and in particular Islamic philosophy of education are better able to enter into dialogue with other systems. However, it was when the wisdom of Islamic art did not find the chance to beging talking with new world's Education but, now, that extreme circumstances have changed.
Focusing on these points, we can say, Islam knowledge is now better and more elegant than before in thinking and intellectual knowledge that is already present in the world. However, it should not be ignored that the more and better manifestation of this knowledge is in the work and attempt that the carriers of this wisdom ,the Muslims, show in better undrestanding of this important category. In this regard, it should be noted that the purpose of "Islamic" as a suffix of wisdom is not only those believers who believe in Islam and are living in line with teachings of it but also, here, includes all individuals that in a way are influenced by the spiritual outcomes of this knowledge. The Intellectual history of the world has proved to everyone that knowledge and Islamic wisdom have affected not only on Muslims but also non-Muslims ,although it has been with mediation.
