"I immediately go to the American minister in Paris and we will go along with him to the Chancellor. Nazar Aga Khan asked: Is the US ambassador Baha'i? I told him:
It does not matter to you, whether he is Bahá'í or not. we are not disparage poor people ... "
As it is clear from historical records, "the Baha'is presence history in US dates back to the early 14th century AH …... for the first time a [confidential] report of the activities of the Group in Chicago was sent to Tehran to inform the higher authorities on Ramadan 30th 1318 AH. Minister in Iran reports [in America] that a group of heads of Baha'is, who had come to city, met him and gave information about them. "They claim "the presence of nearly one hundred thousand Baha'I in the US which the resident minister had called it exaggerated, and he estimates Baha'i population in the United States about 10 thousand people. He reports that this group is people with money, writers and influential individuals that some of them had degree of PhD education and by building centers, they do upbringing of children and orphans and curing patients."
He asks to determine two secret agents to gather information on the state and behavior of their members. In report of 12th Jumada Al-Awwal 1319, he underlined that these people have closely followed Iran's news, and they will not even stop putting pressure on the Iranian government in the political-cultural circles of America to grant more freedom to Baha'i minority. Baha'is measures in the US led to the country's embassy in Tehran to set the protection of the minorities in its agenda".
The "smelly" and "calculated" relation of Americans established with Babis and Baha'is long before the Constitution and intensified with the constitutional sunrise is a very worth pondering. The above statement also depicts American greed to Babi and Bahai as an alternative to Shi'ism in Iran!
