Ingredients:
Half of a whole chicken, cooked and shredded
4 beets, cooked and diced
100 g spinach leaves, cooked
1 onion, fried
1 tablespoon, saffron, ground
Sal, pepper and oil
Procedure,
In a frying pan, saute cooked chicken along with salt and pepper. Chop up the beets. Do not overcook he spinach leaves. They don't need much time.
Inside a pot, spread a layer of rice at the bottom. Then arrange the fried mixture in different layers between rice, on to the top. Put a small bowl of rice away for adding saffron.
Set the pot over the heat and cover well. Allow to cook well.
To avoid the beets from crushing, you are recommended to add them ear the end of the procedure. If you put them inside layers of rice, they might get crushed.
Apply saffroned rice for garnish. Serve hot. Bon Appetit!
