Ingredients,
250 g calf meat
500 g quinces
250 g Onions
2 tablespoons Tomato paste
4 tablespoons Lemon juice
3 tablespoons Sugar
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt and pepper for seasoning
Procedure
Cut the meat into small stewing pieces and sauté in oil over the mild flame. Do close the lid of the pot when the process of sautéing is done. Then add in 1 liter gravy and allow to cook.
Chop up the onions and sauté till golden. Cut the quinces into cubes, 2 cm thick, and sprinkle with sugar. Then add them in the pan of fried onions along with the seasoning, turmeric, salt and pepper powder and sauté them like potatoes.
Once the meat is done, add in the mixture and wait a half hour till well-cooked. In another dish, heat a little oil and sauté the tomato paste. Add in lemon juice, salt and pepper then onto the pot. After 10 minutes, the delicious stew is ready to serve. Serve with rice. Bon Appetit!
