Ingredients
500 g Ground meat5 to 6 tablespoons yogurt
2 fried onions
1 onion
4 to 5 cloves of garlic
2 dessertspoon fresh ginger , grated
3 tablespoons coconut or almond powder
2 tomatoes
1 cup mint leaves
1 1/2 teaspoons masala
Salt, red pepper, turmeric and cinnamon, for seasoning
Directions
Mix the fried, cool onions and ground meat in a mixing bowl.Add in pressed garlic, grated ginger, coconut or almond powder, yogurt and grated tomatoes. Sprinkle with the mentioned spices and mix well. Put in a skillet and keep stirring till all the water is gone. Then sauté a bit.
Spread the mixture in a large pan and flatten the surface.
Slice the onion and arrange over the mixture topped with mint leaves. Close the lid and lower the heat. Give 20 minutes to get ready.
Carefully transfer to a serving dish with a spatula.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lime wedges. Serve with either bread or rice. Bon Appetit!
If you don't like the hot taste of the stew, reduce the amount of the spices and ginger.
