Sunni scientists disagree whether his name is '' Umarv'' or '' Umar'' or '' Umran''. He is one of the martyrs of Karbala and Ashura with whichever name.
The martyrdom of Umran Bin Kaab Ashjaei
He lived in Kufa. He suffered from a problem that no none knew. Therefore, he cried at nights and his pain was hidden into his face.
He saw that the flowers of the garden were spoilt. Isn't life worthless against sacred Quran Book? Blood will be worthless if it flows into veins while the blood of the Islam does not flow into the vein of the society. It will be disapproving if I stay alive, but the religion does not exist.
Umran was fifty years old. He had heard the hot and fiery sermons of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in Kufa and had seen the blood of an innocent person in the mosque around the dawn of the Ramadan fifth. Moreover, he had seen that Imam Mojtaba (peace be upon him) was alone, stratagem of Nakhlie and the conspiracies of Moavie. He heard that Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) would come to eradicate the tyranny of Yazid. He could not tolerate that he lived in the abjection of Yazid; therefore, he saddled his horse.
He prostrated on any corners of Karbala Land and prayed so that he could get the attention of all people to the doomsday. At nights, he whispered '' O' God, O' God ''and recited Quran. His soul was in the conduct of purity, bright and growth''.
On the seventh of Moharram, over 20000swordsmen and lancers cried press and strolled in the small land of Karbala. Umarn went to the troop of Kufa, advised and warned them, but they sneered at him and were stubborn in their decision.
The morning sun of Ashura started its longest day after a restless night. The Izan of Ali Akbar penetrated into the depth of the soul of Umran. Umarn had not slept all of night for the epic morning of Ashura. He was waiting for flying impatiently with assured heart and a soul that was full of enthusiasm of martyrdom.
After Umar Sad put the arrow into the bow, he invited the archers to throw a lot of arrows toward the troop of Imam. Umran took out his sword of the scabbard quickly and nimbly. Umran was fighting as clear springs of blood were flowing from his body. His yelling with love of Imam Hussein was heard in the battlefield. Shortly after, this immaculate person opend his wings toward the green path of the heaven with the escorting of angels. Imam Zaman says hello to this great martyr;
'' السلام علی عمران بن کعب''.
Umair Bin Abdullah Mazheji Kufi (righteous soldier)
He was one of great persons and brave and warrior companions in Ashura. After he fought with enemy hard and bravely, he martyred.
He was originally from Yemen and may be from the people of Kufa.
On Ashra Day, he went to the battlefield after Sad Bin Hanze Tamimi, fought and recited the following poems;
'' قد علمت سعد وحی مذحج انی لدی الهیجا لیث''
'' اعلو بسیقی هامه المدحج واترک القرن لدی التفرج''
'' فریسه الضبع الاذل العرج''
Abdullah and Yahya left the city and visited Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)
''I will descend my sword and will make my rival be eaten by hyena easily''. After Amir invaded the enemy hard and killed several enemy forces, he was martyred by Moslem Al-Zebabi and Abdullah Bajaly.
Ibn Shahr Ashub, Kharazmi and the writer of the book '' Behar Al-Anvar'' have mentioned him as one of martyrs in Karbala.
Madjeh is from the race of Cahill and one of Arabic persons of Qahtan.

He is one of martyrs in Ashura. His name has been mentioned in Rajbie

Awn Ibn Jafar (a martyr in the age of fifty)
He is one of martyrs in Karbala. He was the son of Jafar Ibn Abi Taleb (Jafar Tayyar) and his mother was Asma Bint Umais that was born in Ethiopia. Jafar Tayyar had his son attend the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) in Kheibar War. After Jafar Tayyar martyred in Moute War, the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) summoned his children. They had Abdullah, Awn and Muhammad attend him. The messenger of God ordered to have their heads shaved. The prophet said about Awn '' his manners and behaviors are like myself''. He joined Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in the era of his caliphate. He had his daughter, Umme Kulthum, marry him.
Awn was one of companions of Imam Hasan (peace be upon him) and Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in their eras. He along with his wife attended Karbala. On Ashura Day, he wanted Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) to allow him to enter the battlefield. He fought with the enemies bravely and martyred. When he martyred, he was fifty six years old.
Awn Bin Abdullah Bin Jafar (the child of Hazrat Zeinab (peace be upon her))
The son of Hazrat Zeinab (peace be upon her) along with his another brother, Muhammad, martyred when he was fighting with the troop of Kufa in Ashura. After Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) left Medina, he and his brother followed the caravan and attended the presence of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in the house '' Zat Ergh''. Its name in a holy place has been mentioned in the prayer book.
The mother of Awn is Aghile Bani Hashem , Hazrat Zeinab Kobra (peace be upon him) ( the daughter of Amir Al-Momenin). The mother of Hazrat Zeinab (peace be upon her) is Hazrat Fateme (peace be upon her), the daughter of the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants).
He recited epopee in the time of fighting;
''ان تنکرونی فانا ابن جعفر *** شهید صدق فی الجنان ازهر
یطیر فیها بجناح اخضر *** کفی بهذا شرفا فی المحشر''
Hagiographies have written '' when Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) left Mecca, Abdullah Bin Jafar wanted him to ignore his decision. He sent the letter to him through his sons, Awn and Muhammad. They attended the presence of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) before he arrived Medina. Then Abduallh Bin Jafar went to the commander of Medina (Umarv Bin Saeid Bin As) and requested a letter for Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
in the region of Zat Erq. Abdullah read the letter for Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), but he did not accept the letter from them and stated
'' انی رایت رسول الله فی منامی فامرنی با لمسیر و انی منته الی ما امرنی به''
'' I saw the messenger of God in my dream and he ordered me to continue my path and I will act as the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) has ordered me''.
Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) answered the letter of Umar Ibn Sad. Jafar and Yahya left Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and came back Medina. Abdullah recommended his sons not to leave Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and he apologized that he could not attend him.
As historians have expressed, when people informed in Medina that Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), awn and Jafar martyred, Abdullah Bin Jafar stayed his home and people came his house to condole him. His servant said '' Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) has imposed such plight on us''. Abdullah tossed one of shoes on him and said '' are you insulting him in this way? I swear God that if i had been in the service of such a great man, I would have never left him alone so that I was killed. I swear God that I sacrifice the life of my children on the behalf of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). Since they martyred along with my brother and cousin, assisted them and tolerated difficulties, this helps me to tolerate the plight of their death more easily''. Then he looked at the audience and said '' I thank God that has helped me to feel pleasant with the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). Although I myself could not assist Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), my children assisted him''.
Sarvi says '' Awn Bin Abdullah rushed to the battlefield and admired himself with such remarks '' do you know me? I am the son of Jafar Tayyar. I am a real martyr that is sent to the heaven with luminous face and flies there with green wings. Such high position and honor are enough for the doomsday''.
Awn killed thirty horse-riding enemy forces and eighteen on-foot enemy forces. Then Abdullah bin Nabhan Qtnh Taee wounded and martyred him.
Awn Bin Aghil (the martyr of revelation)
According to the narration of the history, Monagheb and the writers of the history have written Awn as one of the martyrs of Karbala. He is one of persons whose martyr in Karbala is confirmed.
Awn Bin Ali Bin Abi Taleb (the half-brother of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)):
The name of his mother was Asmae Bin Amis. As Tanghih Al-Meghal and Nasekh Al-Tavarikh have narrated, Awn wanted Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) to allow him to fight. Imam Hussein (peace be upon) cried and stated'' O' brother! Have you surrounded against death?'' Awn answered '' I cannot avoid dying because you have no companions to help you''.
Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) allowed him to fight. Awn went to the battlefield, fought hard and killed a lot f of enemies. Then he came back to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) so that he could visit him once more. Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) wanted him to rest for a short time, but he said '' O' brother! I wished to visit you. Now that I have achieved my wish, it is not appropriate to avoid fighting and sacrificing myself. I really suffer from being very thirsty.
