After the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) migrated Medina, organized the system of the Islam and signed friendly contract in relation to living together with the Jewish people residing this city and around it. The prophet had them not cooperate with the enemies of the Islam and not make any riots and conspiracies against the Islam and the Muslims.
However, whenever the prophet of the Islam (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and the Islamic government were in danger in Medina, the Jewish Tribe became happy, cooperated with the enemies of the Islam and violated the treaty.
One of Jewish tribes of Medina was the Ghaynoghae. They lived around Medina, were doing business and commercial affairs and were deprived of agricultural lands, grove and animal husbandry. They had a commercial arcade and most of Arabic people (Muslim, Christian, Jewish, polytheist and the worshiper of idol) traded there.
One day, one of Muslim women was insulted and ridiculed. This event made struggle and skirmish between the Muslims and the Jewish people and in this skirmish, a Muslim and a Jewish person were killed.
In addition, after the troop of the Islam won versus the polytheists of the Ghoreish Tribe in the Badr War and most of the polytheists of Mecca were killed and arrested, the Jewish people of Medina became sad and jealous of the victory of the Muslims and had animosity with them and humbled the Muslims with any possible ways.
When the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) entered the arcade, he summoned and advised them. Moreover, he reminded them of their treaty and prevented them from animosity. Finally, he stated to them ''
أسلموا، فوالله انّكم لتعلمون أنّي رسول الله، قبل أن يوقع الله بكم مثل وقعه قريش.
''O' Jewish group! Surrender and do not disobey and do not be enemy with others. I swear God; you know that I am the messenger of God because it has been annunciated in your holy book. Therefore, you should be aware that God does not make you lead to the fate that Ghoreish Tribe faced''.
The Jewish people answered differently and said '' if you have defeated people that do not know the way of fighting, do not be proud of it''. I swear God; if you fight with us, you will know us.
God descended this verse to the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)
و اِمّا تَخافَنَّ مِنْ قَوْمٍ خِيانَهً فَانْبِذْ اِلَيْهِمْ عَلي سَواءٍ، اِنّ اللّهَ لا يُحِبّ الْخائنينَ.
The meaning of the verse: if you are afraid of the conspiracy of a group with emergence of some signs, they will break their allegiance and assault surprisingly. Announce them fairly that their allegiance has been broken because God does not like traitors.
After this verse was descended, the prophet of the Islam (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) issued an order to invade toward the Ghaynoghae Tribe. The prophet appointed Abu Lababe Bin Abd Al-Monzer in his own position in Medina and he along with seven hundred warriors (three hundred warriors in the clothes made of gold, moved toward Ghaynoghae in the Shavval fifteen in 2 Gh and the Jewish people in this neighborhood entered their towers and closed them.
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) circled them and continued it for 15 days until the Jewish people surrendered. The Muslims tied their hands and decided to assassinate them.
However, Abdullah Bin Abi Bin Selul that was the head of the hypocrites of Medina and in touch with the Jewish People and had sworn allegiance with their tribe mediated them in the presence of the prophet ( peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and emphasized on it. The prophet refused to kill them provided that they granted their military equipment and properties and left this realm along with their wives and children and migrated toward Sham.
The Jewish people had to grant their properties and had to leave Medina along with their wives and children and went toward Kheibar. Some of them stayed there and others moved Azarat in the vicinity of Jordan in Sham and their migration made the Muslims get rid of their animosity and crimes.
The prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) took advantage of their properties, owned its Khoms (one –fifth)and divided the rest of it among the warriors. It was the first case that the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) owned the Khoms (one-fifth)of the treasures of the war.
One of important and great wars of the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) was Ohod War in the Heijrat third. On such a day, Safvan Bin that had lost most of his relatives in Badr War suggested Abu Sofyan that the persons that had investment in the caravan should share it at the war since their brave persons were killed in supporting the commercial caravan.
It has been said that the benefit of the commercial merchandises that was hundred camels and fifty thousand Dinar devoted to the war. The two following verses descended about them:
«إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُنْفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ لِيَصُدُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ...»
To fight with the troop of the Islam perfectly, four persons, such as Umarv Bin As, were ordered to go to other tribes such as Saghif and Kanane and get help from them in order to set up this war. The Ghoreish Troop left Mecca with the brave persons of the Saghif Tribe and other tribes that included three thousand persons with a lot of facilities. They took the women with them as well in order that no one escaped from the battlefield because they understood that if they escaped from the battlefield, their wives and daughters would be captured.
When the troop moved, Abas Bin Abd Al-Motaleb, the uncle of the prophet, that had not become Muslim yet, stayed in Mecca, wrote a letter and left it to a person from Bani Ghafar Tribe to give it to the prophet ( peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). Hence, he informed the prophet of the movement of the Ghoreish Troop. The prophet of the Islam (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) consulted with the soldiers and the migrants and the supporters about the ways of defending and asked their opinions. Abdullah Bin Abi that was the leader of the hypocrites of Medina suggested to stay in Medina and to get help from the women and the children with throwing stones from the roof. The followers and the old people from the migrants and the supporters confirmed this opinion. The brave persons and the warriors, especially the persons that did not have the honor of taking part at the Badr War and some dignitaries such as Hamze ( the uncle of the prophet) and Sad Bin Ebade ( the head of Khezrej) , suggested to leave Medina and to fight face to face out of Medina and considered staying in Medina disgrace. Hence, the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) preferred the opinion of most of the people to the opinion of Abdullah Bin Abi and declared to leave Medina and to fight face to face. The messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) left Medina with ten thousand persons. During the way, Abdullah Bin Abi refused to take part at the war because he made some excuses related to the case that the messenger of God obeyed the opinion of the youth and ignored his opinion. Consequently, he came back Medina with three hundred persons and the messenger of God continued the path with seven hundred persons.
The messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) had Abdullah Bin Jobeir stand in the fissure of the mountain along with fifty shooters so that the enemy could not invade behind the front and stated to them '' make the enemy go away with shooting and do not let them enter behind the front and surprise us. Do not leave behind the front without any soldiers whether you win or fail.
Talhe Bin Abi Talhe entered the battlefield roaringly and called out '' O' the companions of Hazrat Muhammad (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants)! You believe that our killers are in the hell and your killers are in the heaven. Is there a person that I send him to the heaven or he sends me to the hell? Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) went to him and stated '' I swear to a person that has the control of my life; I will not give up until I send you to the hell or you send me to the heaven with your sword. Imam Ali cut his leg and he fell on the earth. In such moment, Zobeir Bin Avam, Meghdad Bin Asud invaded the Ghoreish Tribe along with the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) and his companions and the Ghoreish Tribe failed.
When the Ghoreish Tribe failed, the shooters searched the treasures of the war and forgot the remark of the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). However much Abdullah Bin Jobeir tried came to nothing and they left the fissure of the mountain and were collecting the treasures. When Khaled Bin Valid saw few shooters in the fissure of the mountain, only way to make up the failure was to invade from the fissure of the mountain that was behind the front of the Muslims and they invaded from the same point and martyred the shooters. Seeing it, the polytheists prepared, invaded again and killed most of the soldiers and defeated the troop of the Islam.
When Leisi, the pioneer of Ghoreish tribe, martyred Mosab Bin Amir, the brave leader of the Islam, he thought he had martyred the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) because his face had been covered. Hence, he called out '' O' people! Muhammad has been killed''. The distribution of this news reinforced the spirit of the troop of the enemy and weakened the spirit of the soldiers of the Islam.
When the troop was under pressure completely, some of the Muslims tried to survive. Ans Bin Nazar (the uncle of Malek Bin Nazar) says '' I saw that a group of the migrants and the supporters, Umar Bin Khatab Talhe Bin Ubeidullah, had sat in a corner. I said to them '' why have you sat here?'' they answered '' the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) has been killed and there is no use to fight any more''. I said to them '' the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) has been killed and there is no use to fight, stand up and be killed in the way that he was killed''.
Ale Umran Surah (verse 144) has been descended to disapprove the persons that have given up fighting.
:«وَ مَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ أَفَإِنْ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ وَمَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا وَسَيَجْزِي اللَّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَ »
The prophet of God has been invaded by the enemy all over him and Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) invaded them according to the order of the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), killed some of them and made others go away from the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants). This event happened several times until an honest Gabriel descended to the messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants), praised the selflessness of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and said to the prophet (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) '' this is the most selflessness that this leader expresses''. The messenger of God (peace of Allah be upon him and his descendants) stated '' he is from family and I am from his family''. Then a divine message was heard
«لاسَیف اِلّا ذُوالفَقَار، لافَتَی اِلّا عَلی»
''No sword is as sharp as Zufiqar and no man is as chivalrous as Imam Ali is ''.
The wife of Abu Sofyan and the mother Moavie from India had ordered Vahshi, the slave of Jobeir Bin Motam, to kill one of main personalities of the Islam (the prophet, Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and Hamze) in order to take revenge of the death of the father of India. In return, they promised they would free him. He killed Hamze; therefore, the conspiracy of India was implemented. The martyrdom of Hazrat Hamze was so painful for the prophet. Then he stood in the front of the body and stated '' I will never suffer from the plight as painful as your death and this is the hardest situation for me''. The prophet said seven when he was praying for him. He prayed for him like other persons that had been martyred and said seventy for him and then stated '' bury him in the grave that his nephew '' Abdullah Bin Jahesh'' had already been buried''. When the prophet was coming back Medina, he heard the women that were crying loudly in their houses for dears that had been martyred. He stated '' no woman was crying for Hamze''. When the supporters of the prophet (Ansar) heard this remark, they came back their house and said to the women '' first go the house of Hamze and cry for him and then cry for your dead persons. This tradition will be in Medina forever; at first cry for the martyrdom of Hamze and then for your plight.
