Ashab Kahaf were gentlemen in the polytheistic society whose residents worshiped idols. After a short time, the religion of monotheism appeared in that society and those gentlemen believed in it. The people denied and criticized them, humbled them, rioted and tortured them and made them worship idols and give up the religion of monotheism. They let whoever joined them free, but they murdered whoever insisted on the religion of monotheism terribly. The heroes of this story were the persons that believed in God prudently; therefore, God guided them more, granted them wisdom and knowledge, lightened their path with light that God had granted them and made their belief stronger. Therefore, they feared no one except God and were not afraid of the determined future that frightened any one. However, they did whatever they found as their advantage bravely. They thought that if they lived in their community, they had to follow their religion and could not express the true path and that the religion of polytheism was false and they could not join the true religion. They recognized that they should follow the religion of monotheism, stood up against polytheism and got away from the people and because they did it and resorted to a cave, God would save them finally. Firmly they stood up against their tribe and said
They decided to resort to the cave and said
و اذاعتزلتموهم و ما يعبدون الا اللّه فاووا الى الكهف ينشر لكم ربكم من رحمتة و يهيى ءلكم من امركم مرفقا
They entered the cave and sat on the corner of the cave while their dog had sat at the beginning of the cave.
Since they understood that God would save him, they expressed '' O' God! Grant your blessings for us and prepare us the means of growth and complete guide''.
Hence, God accepted their prayers and had them sleep for several years as their dog was with them. They slept in the cave for three hundred and nine years. The sun shined in the right side of the cave and set in the left side of the cave. They enjoyed from the warmth of the sun. It seemed as if they had been awake whereas they were asleep. God had them sleep on the right side and on the left side and two hands of the dog were on the two sides of the door of the cave. If someone knew that they were asleep, they escaped them and scared from their greatness. After three hundred and nine years, God made them alive again in the cave so that God showed the people that he could save them from the enemies. They all woke up and as soon as they opened their eyes, they saw that the location of the sun had changed. For example, it was shining from a side of the cave when they slept, but after they woke up, it was shining the other side of the cave. Of course, it was completely clear that they were tired of sleeping.
One of them asked '' O' friends! How long did we sleep?'' they answered '' we have slept for a day or the half a day. They guessed that the location of the sun had changed. They were hesitant because they could not determine a way from the change of the location of the sun shining. Some of them said
Then they addedربكم اعلمبما لبثتم

'' We are very hungry. The person that is sent to buy and bring food should be so careful. No one knows where you are because if they know where you are, they will lapidate you''.

''This event is a new story that should lead to the awareness of people from their destiny because the people that Ashab Kahaf got away from and resorted to the cave are not alive any more. They have died and their houses and nation have been destroyed and at the present, other people are living in this city. Their religion is monotheism and the power and the dynasty of monotheism are more superior than other religions. Then, a struggle came up between the polytheists and the devout people. The people that believed in monotheism and the doomsday gained stronger beliefs in the doomsday and the polytheists that denied the doomsday believed in it seeing that event. The purpose of God from revealing the secret of Ashab Kahaf was such a thing.
When one of them left the cave, he entered the city in order to buy food from his countrymen that had dismissed him. He saw a city that was completely different from his own city. He had never seen such a situation throughout his life. Moreover, he saw persons that were not his countrymen. The situation was not what he had seen. He became more surprised as he saw more places until he went to a store to buy food. Then he gave the money that was the currency three hundred years ago to him. A struggle came up between them. The people thronged and the story turned out; therefore, they understood that this youth was from the people related to three hundred years ago. He was one of lost devout people that lived in the polytheistic society in that era. They left their city in order to keep their faith and got away from their countrymen. Then they went to a cave and slept there. It seemed that God had wakened them up and they were waiting that he took them food. The story distributed around the city; therefore, a lot of people thronged and went toward the cave. They took the young man and saw other persons there. They understood that he was right. This story was one of miracles from God. After Ashab Kahaf woke up, they did not live for a long time. In other words, after the miracle was found out, they passed away. Hence, disagreement appeared among the people. The devout people struggled with the polytheists of the city. The polytheists said '' we should build houses above the cave and we do not care about how long they slept''. The devout people said '' we should build the mosque above the cave''.
Sharih Ghazi known as the famous judge of Kufa was dependent on the Umavi Government. Sharih Bin Hareth was originally from Yemen and was appointed as the judge of Kufa in the time of Umar and undertook it for sixty years. He was also appointed as a judge in the time of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). When Imam Ali (peace be upon him) appointed him as a judge, he had him not implement any rules before he consulted about them with him. Imam Ali (peace be upon him) became angry of him once ; therefore, he had him leave Kufa. He had a talent in saying poems and was sense of humorous. He was also appointed as a judge in the time of Moavie and his son, Yazid. He abdicated his service for three years in the time of Ubeidullah Bin Zobeir and in the days of the pilgrims, he left his job forever and stayed at home untill the time of his death arrived in 97 Heijrat. His life span was over a hundred years. When Ibn Ziyad arrested Hani Bin Arve and imprisoned him in his castle, his fans made a lot of noise around the castle since they imagined that he had been killed. In such a situation, Sharih Ghazi left the castle according to the order of Ibn Ziyad and attested that Hani was alive in order that his fans dispersed. It has been written that Sharih Ghazi issued a fatwa because Hazrat Hussein Ibn Ali (peace be upon him) did not obey the orders of the caliph, it was necessary for the Muslims to made him go away from themselves. Sharih was a judge that issued fatwa in the rank of the judges and the clergymen. Of course, Killing a common person needs some necessary conditions; it can be more important in killing the son of the prophet. Ubeidullah Bin Ziyad ( an adulterous person) wanted to make the people lose their interest from Imam Hussein. He called upon Sharih Hani that was the judge of Kufa in the time of Umar with a trick and requested him to issue an fatwa in order that he could introduce the son of the prophet, a radical man and the opponent of benefits and security and accused him of making discord among the Muslims and in this way, he could turn the hearts and the attention of the people away from Imam and murdered him. At first, Sharih refused to do it because he knew that the world and the doomsday would kill him. Ibn Marjane that was so sly promised a lot of money (hundred thousand). Because Sharih did not see any cash, he said that he would never issue any fatwas in relation to killing the son of the prophet. Ibn Marjane that was a political person came to the house of Sharih after two or three days later and said '' I have saved some money and would like to consider them for the future of your children; show me a place for this''. Sharih showed a room for it and Ubeidullah laid the safe of Dinar there. Two days later, he came to Sharih and said '' where is the safe? ''. Sharih pointed at the house. Then Ubeidullah emptied the safe (fifty thousand Dinar) on the earth. He started showing Dinars to him and enticed the greed of Sharih. Then he said '' O' Sharih! (There is no one at home) if you issue an order in relation to murdering Imam Hussein, these will belong to you ( otherwise you will face to a great danger)''. Sharih deceived and issued a rule in relation to murdering Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) (because he disobeyed Amir Al-Momenin, Yazid, and the religion…he should be killed) and Ubeidullah revealed the rule and deceived the common people.
Announcer: if we accept the existance and the importance of the mentioned fatwa, it can be said that the main murderer of Imam Hussein and his faithful companions was Sharih Ghazi that deceived the people as the scientist of the religion and the judge of the city and had an important role in sharpening the sword of tyranny. According to the narration of Seyed Hasan Taghizade, the famous and fussy personality of Mashrute in the event of the contract in 1919'' we were the means of the action. Umar Sad, Shemr , Hermele and other murferers that were the tulips of the freedom plain were only instruments. If the fatwa of Sharih that was from his love to the world had not been, Dinar, gold and money, it would have been impossible for anyone to dare to murder the grandchild of the prophet let alone to other terrible events. The first interferance of Sharih at the beginnig of the movement of Karbala was related to the allegiance of seventy two persons of the dignitaries of Kufa such as : Habib Bin Mazaher, Muhammad Bin Ashas, Mokhtar Saghafi, Umar Bin Sad and … and in considering him as a witness in supporting the dynasty of Imam Ali ( peace be upon him) and inviting Imam Hussein ( peace be upon him) for leaving the responsibility of the governmet of Kufa to him. Apart from breaking allegiance by most of these dignitaries, Sharih came to Ubeidullah as soons as he entered Kufa in Dar Al-Emare and without considering his commitment with the dynasty of Ali, he joined the group of their opponents and became one of the consultants of Ubeidullah. To achieve his purposes, he needed the support of persons such as Sharih Ghazi that had a prominent personality among the religious people of Kufa and attracted him. Ziyad and his son, Ubeidullah, misused him ;they issued fatwa from his unimportant remarks.
