1. Face
Quran states about ablution
یَا أَیُّهَا الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَاغْسِلُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَیْدِیَكُمْ إِلَى الْمَرَافِقِ وَامْسَحُوا بِرُءُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَیْنِ ۚ وَإِن كُنتُمْ جُنُبًا فَاطَّهَّرُوا ۚ وَإِن كُنتُم مَّرْضَىٰ أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَاءَ أَحَدٌ مِّنكُم مِّنَ الْغَائِطِ أَوْ لَامَسْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَلَمْ تَجِدُوا مَاءً فَتَیَمَّمُوا صَعِیدًا طَیِّبًا فَامْسَحُوا بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَیْدِیكُم مِّنْهُ ۚ مَا یُرِیدُ اللَّهُ لِیَجْعَلَ عَلَیْكُم مِّنْ حَرَجٍ وَلَٰكِن یُرِیدُ لِیُطَهِّرَكُمْ وَلِیُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَیْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
O ye who believe! when ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; Rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. If ye are in a state of ceremonial impurity, bathe your whole body. But if ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands, Allah doth not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete his favour to you, that ye may be grateful.
قَدْ نَرَىٰ تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِی السَّمَاءِ ۖ فَلَنُوَلِّیَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً تَرْضَاهَا ۚ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ۚ وَحَیْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّوا وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُ ۗ وَإِنَّ الَّذِینَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ لَیَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ ۗ وَمَا اللَّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا یَعْمَلُونَ
We see the turning of thy face (for guidance to the heavens: now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord. Nor is Allah unmindful of what they do.
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِالْأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِیمٌ
When news is brought to one of them, of (the birth of) a female (child), his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief.
فَلَمَّا أَن جَاءَ الْبَشِیرُ أَلْقَاهُ عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهِ فَارْتَدَّ بَصِیرًا ۖ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّی أَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Then when the bearer of the good news came, He cast (the shirt) over his face, and he forthwith regained clear sight. He said: "Did I not say to you, ´I know from Allah that which ye know not.
وْمَ تَبْیَضُّ وُجُوهٌ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌ ۚ فَأَمَّا الَّذِینَ اسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ أَكَفَرْتُم بَعْدَ إِیمَانِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
On the Day when some faces will be (lit up with) white, and some faces will be (in the gloom of) black: To those whose faces will be black, (will be said): "Did ye reject Faith after accepting it? Taste then the penalty for rejecting Faith .
فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِیفَةً ۖ قَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ ۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَامٍ عَلِیمٍ
(When they did not eat), He conceived a fear of them. They said, "Fear not," and they gave him glad tidings of a son endowed with knowledge. .
فَأَقْبَلَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ فِی صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِیمٌ
But his wife came forward (laughing) aloud: she smote her forehead and said: "A barren old woman''.
2. Nature
Quran states
كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَیْهَا فَانٍ
.All that is on earth will perish
وَیَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour.
وَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ ۘ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ كُلُّ شَیْءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُ ۚ لَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَإِلَیْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
And call not, besides Allah, on another god. There is no god but He. Everything (that exists) will perish except His own Face. To Him belongs the Command, and to Him will ye (all) be brought back.
3. Obedience
Quran states
لَعَلِّی أَعْمَلُ صَالِحًا فِیمَا تَرَكْتُ ۚ كَلَّا ۚ إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَائِلُهَا ۖ وَمِن وَرَائِهِم بَرْزَخٌ إِلَىٰ یَوْمِ یُبْعَثُونَ
In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up''.
وَمَا آتَیْتُم مِّن رِّبًا لِّیَرْبُوَ فِی أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ فَلَا یَرْبُو عِندَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا آتَیْتُم مِّن زَكَاةٍ تُرِیدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُضْعِفُونَ
That which ye lay out for increase through the property of (other) people, will have no increase with Allah: but that which ye lay out for charity, seeking the Countenance of Allah, (will increase): it is these who will get a recompense multiplied.
وَلَا تَطْرُدِ الَّذِینَ یَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِیِّ یُرِیدُونَ وَجْهَهُ ۖ مَا عَلَیْكَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَیْءٍ وَمَا مِنْ حِسَابِكَ عَلَیْهِم مِّن شَیْءٍ فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الظَّالِمِینَ
Send not away those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His face. In naught art thou accountable for them, and in naught are they accountable for thee, that thou shouldst turn them away, and thus be (one) of the unjust.
إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ لَا نُرِیدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَاءً وَلَا شُكُورًا
(Saying),"We feed you for the sake of Allah alone: no reward do we desire from you, nor thanks.
وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰ
And have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return.
إِلَّا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ الْأَعْلَىٰ
But only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High.
وَالَّذِینَ صَبَرُوا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِیَةً وَیَدْرَءُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّیِّئَةَ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ
Those who patiently persevere, seeking the countenance of their Lord; Establish regular prayers; spend, out of (the gifts) We have bestowed for their sustenance, secretly and openly; and turn off Evil with good: for such there is the final attainment of the (eternal) home.
فَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ أَنِّی لَا أُضِیعُ عَمَلَ عَامِلٍ مِّنكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ ۖ بَعْضُكُم مِّن بَعْضٍ ۖ فَالَّذِینَ هَاجَرُوا وَأُخْرِجُوا مِن دِیَارِهِمْ وَأُوذُوا فِی سَبِیلِی وَقَاتَلُوا وَقُتِلُوا لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَیِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِی مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ثَوَابًا مِّنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عِندَهُ حُسْنُ الثَّوَابِ
And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: "Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another: Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain,- verily, I will blot out from them their iniquities, and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath;- A reward from the presence of Allah, and from His presence is the best of rewards.
وَلِلَّهِ الْمَشْرِقُ وَالْمَغْرِبُ ۚ فَأَیْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَاسِعٌ عَلِیمٌ
To Allah belong the east and the West: Whithersoever ye turn, there is the presence of Allah. For Allah is all-Pervading, all-Knowing.
قَدْ نَرَىٰ تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِی السَّمَاءِ ۖ فَلَنُوَلِّیَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً تَرْضَاهَا ۚ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ۚ وَحَیْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّوا وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُ ۗ وَإِنَّ الَّذِینَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ لَیَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ ۗ وَمَا اللَّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا یَعْمَلُونَ

سَیَقُولُ السُّفَهَاءُ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَا وَلَّاهُمْ عَن قِبْلَتِهِمُ الَّتِی كَانُوا عَلَیْهَا ۚ قُل لِّلَّهِ الْمَشْرِقُ وَالْمَغْرِبُ ۚ یَهْدِی مَن یَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِیمٍ
The fools among the people will say: "What hath turned them from the Qibla to which they were used?" Say: To Allah belong both east and West: He guideth whom He will to a Way that is straight.
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ أُمَّةً وَسَطًا لِّتَكُونُوا شُهَدَاءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَیَكُونَ الرَّسُولُ عَلَیْكُمْ شَهِیدًا ۗ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا الْقِبْلَةَ الَّتِی كُنتَ عَلَیْهَا إِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَن یَتَّبِعُ الرَّسُولَ مِمَّن یَنقَلِبُ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَیْهِ ۚ وَإِن كَانَتْ لَكَبِیرَةً إِلَّا عَلَى الَّذِینَ هَدَى اللَّهُ ۗ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِیُضِیعَ إِیمَانَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِالنَّاسِ لَرَءُوفٌ رَّحِیمٌ
Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous, except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah Make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful.
4. Beginning and start
Quran states
وَقَالَت طَّائِفَةٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ آمِنُوا بِالَّذِی أُنزِلَ عَلَى الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا وَجْهَ النَّهَارِ وَاكْفُرُوا آخِرَهُ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَرْجِعُونَ
A section of the People of the Book say: "Believe in the morning what is revealed to the believers, but reject it at the end of the day; perchance they may (themselves) Turn back.
وَلَا تُؤْمِنُوا إِلَّا لِمَن تَبِعَ دِینَكُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ الْهُدَىٰ هُدَى اللَّهِ أَن یُؤْتَىٰ أَحَدٌ مِّثْلَ مَا أُوتِیتُمْ أَوْ یُحَاجُّوكُمْ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِیَدِ اللَّهِ یُؤْتِیهِ مَن یَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِیمٌ
And believe no one unless he follows your religion." Say: "True guidance is the Guidance of Allah: (Fear ye) Lest a revelation be sent to someone (else) Like unto that which was sent unto you? or that those (Receiving such revelation) should engage you in argument before your Lord?" Say: "All bounties are in the hand of Allah: He granteth them to whom He pleaseth: And Allah careth for all, and He knoweth all things.
وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذْنِهِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِی الْأَمْرِ وَعَصَیْتُم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا أَرَاكُم مَّا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ مِنكُم مَّن یُرِیدُ الدُّنْیَا وَمِنكُم مَّن یُرِیدُ الْآخِرَةَ ۚ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِیَبْتَلِیَكُمْ ۖ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِینَ
Allah did indeed fulfil His promise to you when ye with His permission Were about to annihilate your enemy,-until ye flinched and fell to disputing about the order, and disobeyed it after He brought you in sight (of the booty) which ye covet. Among you are some that hanker after this world and some that desire the Hereafter. Then did He divert you from your foes in order to test you but He forgave you: For Allah is full of grace to those who believe.
ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ عَلَیْكُم مِّن بَعْدِ الْغَمِّ أَمَنَةً نُّعَاسًا یَغْشَىٰ طَائِفَةً مِّنكُمْ ۖ وَطَائِفَةٌ قَدْ أَهَمَّتْهُمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ یَظُنُّونَ بِاللَّهِ غَیْرَ الْحَقِّ ظَنَّ الْجَاهِلِیَّةِ ۖ یَقُولُونَ هَل لَّنَا مِنَ الْأَمْرِ مِن شَیْءٍ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ الْأَمْرَ كُلَّهُ لِلَّهِ ۗ یُخْفُونَ فِی أَنفُسِهِم مَّا لَا یُبْدُونَ لَكَ ۖ یَقُولُونَ لَوْ كَانَ لَنَا مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَیْءٌ مَّا قُتِلْنَا هَاهُنَا ۗ قُل لَّوْ كُنتُمْ فِی بُیُوتِكُمْ لَبَرَزَ الَّذِینَ كُتِبَ عَلَیْهِمُ الْقَتْلُ إِلَىٰ مَضَاجِعِهِمْ ۖ وَلِیَبْتَلِیَ اللَّهُ مَا فِی صُدُورِكُمْ وَلِیُمَحِّصَ مَا فِی قُلُوبِكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِیمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
After (the excitement) of the distress, He sent down calm on a band of you overcome with slumber, while another band was stirred to anxiety by their own feelings, Moved by wrong suspicions of Allah-suspicions due to ignorance. They said: "What affair is this of ours?" Say thou: "Indeed, this affair is wholly Allah´s." They hide in their minds what they dare not reveal to thee. They say (to themselves): "If we had had anything to do with this affair, We should not have been in the slaughter here." Say: "Even if you had remained in your homes, those for whom death was decreed would certainly have gone forth to the place of their death"; but (all this was) that Allah might test what is in your breasts and purge what is in your hearts. For Allah knoweth well the secrets of your hearts.
وَلَئِن قُتِلْتُمْ فِی سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ مُتُّمْ لَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرَحْمَةٌ خَیْرٌ مِّمَّا یَجْمَعُونَ
And if ye are slain, or die, in the way of Allah, forgiveness and mercy from Allah are far better than all they could amass.
