The uses of the word ''lawyer'' in Quran
1. Divine noun and adjective
Quran states
وَیَقُولُونَ طَاعَةٌ فَإِذَا بَرَزُوا مِنْ عِندِكَ بَیَّتَ طَائِفَةٌ مِّنْهُمْ غَیْرَ الَّذِی تَقُولُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ یَكْتُبُ مَا یُبَیِّتُونَ ۖ فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِیلًا
They have "Obedience" on their lips; but when they leave thee, a section of them Meditate all night on things very different from what thou tellest them. But Allah records their nightly (plots): So keep clear of them, and put thy trust in Allah, and enough is Allah as a disposer of affairs.
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِی السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِی الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِیلًا
Yea, unto Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth, and enough is Allah to carry through all affairs.
یَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَا تَغْلُوا فِی دِینِكُمْ وَلَا تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْحَقَّ ۚ إِنَّمَا الْمَسِیحُ عِیسَى ابْنُ مَرْیَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَىٰ مَرْیَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِّنْهُ ۖ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ ۖ وَلَا تَقُولُوا ثَلَاثَةٌ ۚ انتَهُوا خَیْرًا لَّكُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا اللَّهُ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ سُبْحَانَهُ أَن یَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ ۘ لَّهُ مَا فِی السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِی الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِیلًا
O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.
فَلَعَلَّكَ تَارِكٌ بَعْضَ مَا یُوحَىٰ إِلَیْكَ وَضَائِقٌ بِهِ صَدْرُكَ أَن یَقُولُوا لَوْلَا أُنزِلَ عَلَیْهِ كَنزٌ أَوْ جَاءَ مَعَهُ مَلَكٌ ۚ إِنَّمَا أَنتَ نَذِیرٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَكِیلٌ
Perchance thou mayest (feel the inclination) to give up a part of what is revealed unto thee, and thy heart feeleth straitened lest they say, "Why is not a treasure sent down unto him, or why does not an angel come down with him?" But thou art there only to warn! It is Allah that arrangeth all affairs.
قَالَ لَنْ أُرْسِلَهُ مَعَكُمْ حَتَّىٰ تُؤْتُونِ مَوْثِقًا مِّنَ اللَّهِ لَتَأْتُنَّنِی بِهِ إِلَّا أَن یُحَاطَ بِكُمْ ۖ فَلَمَّا آتَوْهُ مَوْثِقَهُمْ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِیلٌ
(Jacob) said: "Never will I send him with you until ye swear a solemn oath to me, in Allah´s name, that ye will be sure to bring him back to me unless ye are yourselves hemmed in (and made powerless). And when they had sworn their solemn oath, he said: "Over all that we say, be Allah the witness and guardian.
قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ بَیْنِی وَبَیْنَكَ ۖ أَیَّمَا الْأَجَلَیْنِ قَضَیْتُ فَلَا عُدْوَانَ عَلَیَّ ۖ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِیلٌ
He said: "Be that (the agreement) between me and thee: whichever of the two terms I fulfil, let there be no ill-will to me. Be Allah a witness to what we say.
الَّذِینَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِیمَانًا وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِیلُ
Men said to them: "A great army is gathering against you": And frightened them: But it (only) increased their Faith: They said: "For us Allah sufficeth, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
وَآتَیْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ هُدًى لِّبَنِی إِسْرَائِیلَ أَلَّا تَتَّخِذُوا مِن دُونِی وَكِیلًا
We gave Moses the Book, and made it a Guide to the Children of Israel, (commanding): "Take not other than Me as Disposer of (your) affairs.
رَّبُّ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَاتَّخِذْهُ وَكِیلًا
(He is) Lord of the East and the West: there is no god but He: take Him therefore for (thy) Disposer of Affairs.
2. Schemers
Quran states
هَا أَنتُمْ هَٰؤُلَاءِ جَادَلْتُمْ عَنْهُمْ فِی الْحَیَاةِ الدُّنْیَا فَمَن یُجَادِلُ اللَّهَ عَنْهُمْ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَةِ أَم مَّن یَكُونُ عَلَیْهِمْ وَكِیلًا
Ah! These are the sort of men on whose behalf ye may contend in this world; but who will contend with Allah on their behalf on the Day of Judgment, or who will carry their affairs through.
وَالَّذِینَ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِیَاءَ اللَّهُ حَفِیظٌ عَلَیْهِمْ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَیْهِم بِوَكِیلٍ
And those who take as protectors others besides Him,- Allah doth watch over them; and thou art not the disposer of their affairs.
إِنَّ عِبَادِی لَیْسَ لَكَ عَلَیْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ وَكِیلًا
As for My servants, no authority shalt thou have over them:" Enough is thy Lord for a Disposer of affairs.
فَلَعَلَّكَ تَارِكٌ بَعْضَ مَا یُوحَىٰ إِلَیْكَ وَضَائِقٌ بِهِ صَدْرُكَ أَن یَقُولُوا لَوْلَا أُنزِلَ عَلَیْهِ كَنزٌ أَوْ جَاءَ مَعَهُ مَلَكٌ ۚ إِنَّمَا أَنتَ نَذِیرٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَكِیلٌ

هُوَ الَّذِی أَنزَلَ عَلَیْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آیَاتٌ مُّحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ ۖ فَأَمَّا الَّذِینَ فِی قُلُوبِهِمْ زَیْغٌ فَیَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَاءَ الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَاءَ تَأْوِیلِهِ ۗ وَمَا یَعْلَمُ تَأْوِیلَهُ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۗ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِی الْعِلْمِ یَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِندِ رَبِّنَا ۗ وَمَا یَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّا أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ
He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.
وَرَسُولًا إِلَىٰ بَنِی إِسْرَائِیلَ أَنِّی قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِآیَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ أَنِّی أَخْلُقُ لَكُم مِّنَ الطِّینِ كَهَیْئَةِ الطَّیْرِ فَأَنفُخُ فِیهِ فَیَكُونُ طَیْرًا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُبْرِئُ الْأَكْمَهَ وَالْأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْیِی الْمَوْتَىٰ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِی بُیُوتِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَٰلِكَ لَآیَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِینَ
And (appoint him) a messenger to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "´I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah´s leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by Allah´s leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe.
وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِیعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا ۚ وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَیْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَیْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ یُبَیِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آیَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah´s favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided?
وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذْنِهِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِی الْأَمْرِ وَعَصَیْتُم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا أَرَاكُم مَّا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ مِنكُم مَّن یُرِیدُ الدُّنْیَا وَمِنكُم مَّن یُرِیدُ الْآخِرَةَ ۚ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِیَبْتَلِیَكُمْ ۖ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِینَ
Allah did indeed fulfil His promise to you when ye with His permission Were about to annihilate your enemy,-until ye flinched and fell to disputing about the order, and disobeyed it after He brought you in sight (of the booty) which ye covet. Among you are some that hanker after this world and some that desire the Hereafter. Then did He divert you from your foes in order to test you but He forgave you: For Allah is full of grace to those who believe.
إِذْ تُصْعِدُونَ وَلَا تَلْوُونَ عَلَىٰ أَحَدٍ وَالرَّسُولُ یَدْعُوكُمْ فِی أُخْرَاكُمْ فَأَثَابَكُمْ غَمًّا بِغَمٍّ لِّكَیْلَا تَحْزَنُوا عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا مَا أَصَابَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ خَبِیرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
Behold! ye were climbing up the high ground, without even casting a side glance at any one, and the Messenger in your rear was calling you back. There did Allah give you one distress after another by way of requital, to teach you not to grieve for (the booty) that had escaped you and for (the ill) that had befallen you. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do.
ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ عَلَیْكُم مِّن بَعْدِ الْغَمِّ أَمَنَةً نُّعَاسًا یَغْشَىٰ طَائِفَةً مِّنكُمْ ۖ وَطَائِفَةٌ قَدْ أَهَمَّتْهُمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ یَظُنُّونَ بِاللَّهِ غَیْرَ الْحَقِّ ظَنَّ الْجَاهِلِیَّةِ ۖ یَقُولُونَ هَل لَّنَا مِنَ الْأَمْرِ مِن شَیْءٍ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ الْأَمْرَ كُلَّهُ لِلَّهِ ۗ یُخْفُونَ فِی أَنفُسِهِم مَّا لَا یُبْدُونَ لَكَ ۖ یَقُولُونَ لَوْ كَانَ لَنَا مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَیْءٌ مَّا قُتِلْنَا هَاهُنَا ۗ قُل لَّوْ كُنتُمْ فِی بُیُوتِكُمْ لَبَرَزَ الَّذِینَ كُتِبَ عَلَیْهِمُ الْقَتْلُ إِلَىٰ مَضَاجِعِهِمْ ۖ وَلِیَبْتَلِیَ اللَّهُ مَا فِی صُدُورِكُمْ وَلِیُمَحِّصَ مَا فِی قُلُوبِكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِیمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
After (the excitement) of the distress, He sent down calm on a band of you overcome with slumber, while another band was stirred to anxiety by their own feelings, Moved by wrong suspicions of Allah-suspicions due to ignorance. They said: "What affair is this of ours?" Say thou: "Indeed, this affair is wholly Allah´s." They hide in their minds what they dare not reveal to thee. They say (to themselves): "If we had had anything to do with this affair, We should not have been in the slaughter here." Say: "Even if you had remained in your homes, those for whom death was decreed would certainly have gone forth to the place of their death"; but (all this was) that Allah might test what is in your breasts and purge what is in your hearts. For Allah knoweth well the secrets of your hearts.
وَلِیَعْلَمَ الَّذِینَ نَافَقُوا ۚ وَقِیلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا قَاتِلُوا فِی سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ أَوِ ادْفَعُوا ۖ قَالُوا لَوْ نَعْلَمُ قِتَالًا لَّاتَّبَعْنَاكُمْ ۗ هُمْ لِلْكُفْرِ یَوْمَئِذٍ أَقْرَبُ مِنْهُمْ لِلْإِیمَانِ ۚ یَقُولُونَ بِأَفْوَاهِهِم مَّا لَیْسَ فِی قُلُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا یَكْتُمُونَ
And the Hypocrites also. These were told: "Come, fight in the way of Allah, or (at least) drive (The foe from your city)." They said: "Had we known how to fight, we should certainly have followed you." They were that day nearer to Unbelief than to Faith, saying with their lips what was not in their hearts but Allah hath full knowledge of all they conceal.
مَّا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِیَذَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ عَلَىٰ مَا أَنتُمْ عَلَیْهِ حَتَّىٰ یَمِیزَ الْخَبِیثَ مِنَ الطَّیِّبِ ۗ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِیُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى الْغَیْبِ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ یَجْتَبِی مِن رُّسُلِهِ مَن یَشَاءُ ۖ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ ۚ وَإِن تُؤْمِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَلَكُمْ أَجْرٌ عَظِیمٌ
Allah will not leave the believers in the state in which ye are now, until He separates what is evil from what is good nor will He disclose to you the secrets of the Unseen. But He chooses of His Messengers (For the purpose) whom He pleases. So believe in Allah. And His messengers: And if ye believe and do right, ye have a reward without measure.
وَلَا یَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِینَ یَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَیْرًا لَّهُم ۖ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ ۖ سَیُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُوا بِهِ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَةِ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ مِیرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِیرٌ
And let not those who covetously withhold of the gifts which Allah Hath given them of His Grace, think that it is good for them: Nay, it will be the worse for them: soon shall the things which they covetously withheld be tied to their necks Like a twisted collar, on the Day of Judgment. To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.
