MILAD Tower is the tallest skyscraper in Iran and the sixth tall telecommunication tower in the world.
This telecommunication and multipurpose tower is located in Tehran's International Telecommunication Complex Center, in the northwest of Tehran, on a hill with approximate 14 acres area in the south of the SHAHRAK QODS and north of KOYE NASR in district number 2 of Tehran municipality.
It is one of the capital's symbols due to its high altitude and different appearance, and can be seen almost everywhere in Tehran.
The height of the MILAD tower is 435 meters and is in sixth place among world's telecommunication towers, after Tokyo Sky 3 Tower of Japan with 634 meters high, Guangzhou and Sichuan Guangzhou with 605 meters high, CN Toronto with 553 meters high, Moscow tower with 540 meters high, and Shanghai Oriental tower with 467 meters high.

The MILAD Tower is consisted of 5 main parts, the base, lobby, the main body of the tower, vertex structure and the ridge. And it`s vertex structure is one of the largest in the world's telecommunication towers.
The Tehran International Telecommunication Center, which was built to meet the needs of Tehran's telecommunication and television, is consisted of four main sections: Television Tower, international convention center, five star international hotel and the World Trade Center.

Technical characteristics of the tower:
This is a concrete tower and its mainstay is made of reinforced concrete. Its height is 315 meters on natural ground with a cellar section of which about 33,000 cubic meters of concrete are consumed

The body of the tower is consisted of a central core and four pillars that have been assigned to the elevators in a central core of 3 huts, and an enclosure to an emergency staircase.
6 glass elevators are on the three sides of the tower, each with a capacity of 25 people, with an average speed of 7 meters per second, will send visitors to the top of the tower.
The steel vertex structure of tower is made up of 12 floors with an infrastructure of more than 15,000 square meters with a maximum diameter of 60 meters is one of the largest of its kind in global TV telecommunication towers. The performance of the vertex structure includes a special revolving restaurant, display platforms, sky dome.
The antenna mast of the tower is more than 120 meters in height, and made for the installation of telecommunication and television antennas.
