Milad Tower

Milad Tower is the tallest skyscraper in Iran and the sixth tall tower in the world.
This telecommunication and multipurpose tower is located in the center of Tehran International Communications in the northwest of Tehran on a hill with an area of approximately 14 hectares in the south of Shahrak Ghods and in the north of Nasr Alley in Region 2 of Tehran municipality.
This structure is considered as one of the symbols of the capital due to the high altitude and different appearance and it is visible from almost everywhere in Tehran.
The height of Milad tower is 435 meters and it is in the sixth place in the world after Tokyo sky tree tower in Japan with 634 meters height, Guangzhou and Sightseeing Guangzhou Tower in China with 605 meters height, CN Tower in Toronto, Canada with 553 meters height, Moscow tower with 540 meters height, and Shanghai Oriental tower in China with 467 meters height.

Milad Tower is formed from 5 main parts, including the foundation, the building of the tower (lobby), the main body of the tower, the top of the mast structure that the top building is one of the largest buildings in the telecommunications towers of the world.
International Communication Center of Tehran, which is made to meet the needs of telecommunications and television in Tehran consists of four main sections: Telecom and TV Towers, International Conference Center, International five-star hotel, and World Trade Center.

Technical specifications of tower

The tower is a concrete structure that the main foundation of the tower is reinforced concrete. Its height is 315 meters above natural ground with cellular profile and about 33,000 cubic meters of concrete were consumed in it.
The body of the tower includes the central core and four fins inside the core; 3 of them are allocated to the elevators and the last is allocated to the emergency staircase.
There are 6 glass elevators on three sides of the tower body with a capacity of 25 persons and the average speed of 7 meters per second and move visitors to the top of the tower.
The top structure of the tower is made from steel and it has 12 floors with more than 15,000 square meters area and with a maximum diameter of 60 meters. That is one of the largest buildings in the telecommunications towers of the world.
The performance of the top structure including special and revolving restaurant, display platforms, sky dome.
The tower mast antenna with more than 120 meters height is predicted to install telecommunications and television antennas.
