After having the power, Reza khan decided to establish Pahlavi kingdom for his own. So he started with the slogan of being republican as an introduction of a transition from Qajar to Pahlavi. By announcing this news, many people and clergymen gathered in front of the national parliament, at BAHARESTAN square and were chanting against Reza khan and republic. Consequently, there was a severe fight between people and soldiers resulting in death and injury of some people. This forced the parliament head to a fast reaction and ordering the parliament to decide for him. This harsh rushed reaction put Reza khan into fear and apologizing, and eventually, by increasing public protests against Reza khan’s fake republic in various cities, he declared to refuse the republican system.
