Baba Yari or Adasav, is a famous dish in Ilam Province.
Ingredients,
lentils, cleaned, 2 glasses
Oil, 2 tbsp
Onion, Medium-sized, 1 no
Salt and pepper to taste
Tomato puree, 2 tbsp

Procedure
First soak lentils in water for an entire day and drain the water. This reduces flatulence.
Cook soaked lentils with some water and oil ( if you do it in chicken or meat stock it is preferred ). In the meantime fry the onion. Once lentils are soft, add in fried onion, tomato puree, salt and pepper. Wait a little to cook.
It is ready to serve.
The recipe explained above, is the easiest way to make Baba Yari. But in some areas in Iran, potatoes and meat are also applied. It would be more delicious but it would take more time, definitely.
