Chop meat in small pieces and fry with a little oil and cook with onion and turmeric.
Grind walnuts, sesame, and pomegranate seeds and add to the half-cooked meat. Add in salt, pepper and if you like sour pomegranate juice along with sugar at the end of the cooking and let the food cook well.
You can either fry eggs in a separate pan and add to the stew at the end of cooking or after serving the stew top it with fried eggs.
The stew is served with Katteh, Persian rice cuisine.
Key points,
Sour pomegranate juice and sugar can be added individually or altogether. You can increase or reduce their amount to your taste.
Instead of pomegranate juice you can apply 1 tbsp pomegranate puree.
You can also make the stew without meat.
Even if the meat is left out, the food is still healthy and nutritious.
You can apply meatballs instead of meat pieces.
